Lost to Time: Turbografx-16 It's another stopgap video! Hooray! While I decide what I'll do for the next video (a Boom Blox review, perhaps...?), here's a retrospective of the Turbografx-16, NEC and Hudson Soft's would-be contender to the Sega Genesis. It may only be an 8-bit system, but some of its games are incredibly impressive despite that handicap. OutRun gets more miles to the gallon than its Genesis counterpart, and Operation Wolf is so close to the arcade version that you'd think the two were identical at first glance. Each game in the video has been appropriately labeled, and I've spiced up the footage with excerpts from the old Johnny Turbo comic (taken from the now defunct COTI web site) and musical accompaniment from Judas Priest. So put down that controller, pick up that air guitar, and get ready to rock out with your favorite private part out! TurboGrafx-16-Bonk's-Adventure-Ending The ending for the TurboGrafx-16 game Bonk's Adventure. (Note: The sound on this is pretty low as I remember it was recorded at a friends house who's VCR was kinda crappy.) This is Tape #2 of some of the Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx-16 games I've beat and kept track of on VHS since I was a child. These date back to my childhood and all of it is true vintage footage. You'll also see a few boss fights as well with some of the endings. I have converted this tape to digital format for your viewing pleasure. There are 23 endings and boss fights totalling over 40 minutes of footage. Not the highest of quality footage, but these do come from a VHS tape about 20 years old. Since this tape is so old, the video quality isn't perfect and it has a bit of wear and tear so some of the endings appear a little warped. As well as have low sound.
