KH2FM - Roxas vs Twilight Thorn Okay, So recently for whatever reason my memory card just quit on me simple as that. Why? I have no idea. So all my game data I had on it is GONE. Including all Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix saves and what not. So I decided to quickly play through the game and post all the battles and such I do. Why do it when there's already videos and i'm not doing No Damage and such videos? It's for fun, get over it. I'll do hacked fights when I can. In time i'll do your requests when I finish for now I don't want to read any comments complaining about it. Oh and I noticed that I said left in the video I meant right. I just quickly added the first part and was thinking something else. :( Alright, Twilight Thorn. I dislike this battle. It's long, boring, and... well.. gay. I could use codes and such to level up and get through the battles faster but I don't really want to do that. I don't know what else to say so i'll just leave it at that. KH2 - Dual Roxas & Mickey Vs 1000 Heartless & Twilight Thorn Thanks to Ben500 for informing me that you can use the Reaction Commands against the Twilight Thorn with Dual Roxas. That's what made me re-do this. It's a little more possible, but just takes too damn long. It started making my fingers soar, so I stopped at 9:59, which is the limit anyway. Mickey doesn't help at all. And I didn't want to do another FF character as an ally. Oh well. But the video gets kind of boring to watch after TT is dead. Dual Roxas pretty much takes him down easily. But because DUal Roxas can't do normal Reaction Commands against heartless, the battle takes way too long. It seems like you can get through it without dying if you get as many of the HP orbs as you can. But yes, no more Roxas & 1000 heartless requests please. Xaldinkhvids already did Roxas & Axel Vs. 1000 Heartless, so don't request that. Also, it appears as if I can't null the music. KH2 - Roxas & Yuffie Vs. 1000 Heartless & Twilight Thorn This was a user request from YumRelish. Thanks to that person for being patient, the request was like 2 weeks ago. I didn't have a save file right before the battle, so I was a little lazy. Anyway, it seems faily impossible. Yuffie doesn't do too good a job killing the Heartless, and the Twilight Thorn is pretty strong in this fight. Since Roxas can't heal with magic, you eventually run out of Hi-Potions and will die. I didn't realize that until about halfway through. I was hoping killing TT would end the fight, but guess not. But I'm very impressed that the game doesn't crash, with all the massive AI going on at once. Not to mention it's a miracle TT's first attack doesn't just straight out crash the game. KH2FM - Twilight Thorn No Damage (LV1 CM) So now I've started a LV1 Critical Mode challenge. The first fight you do is the boss fight against Twilight Thorn. No, I do not count that stupid Dusk you fight at the Twilight Mansion Gate a real fight, and wouldn't be worth uploading as a no damage. So this comes first. I must say, I remember back when I did my low level Proud Mode challenge in the original KH2, this guy was still tough even being level 2-3, I remember using up all my Potions and still barely winning. But if you know how TT works, it's super easy, and only slightly more annoying to get no damage. It was Apul's idea to run away when it sticks its head in the ground, which is smart for a no damage. If you're not going for a no damage, you can just get in 1 hit and mash the Triangle button to avoid losing. But the Creepers make it tricky. So backing off and taking out the Creepers during this part is best. The rest it simple. And just like Apul did for his videos, I'm going to do my own version of difficulty rating from my point of view. It's not going to be out of 5 like his though. Difficulty for LV1 win: ** Difficulty for LV1 no damage win: *** I'm going to have to add a tiny Q/A at the end of all these videos, just because I KNOW idiots will ask stupid questions having not played the game yet pretend to know what they're talking about based on KH2. ---- Q: How do you stay Level 1? A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up. Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)? A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge. Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here). A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability. Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game? A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher. Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese! A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that. Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2? A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. Kingdom Hearts II Power Playthrough: Twilight Thorn Attemept I've been working on getting at least THIS boss downed but holy hell. Twilight Thorn will kick your arse when the battle level is set to the end of game one. I tried to doge and attack but it STILL gets you With the sword-like nobodies it can spawn. If I could manage all the dodging and getting a chance to attack, then it wouldn't be so bad. But geez. I'd love to see someone beat this Uber strong Twilight Thorn and I'm on proud, so that probably doesn't help lol. Mickey VS Twilight Thorn Improved Sound I'm gonna be Captain Obvious here and say: I USED A CHEAT DEVICE - Gameshark to be specific. Screechy parts taken out, yay! I figured I could just mute those parts and play Tension Rising over them. The sound ends up being a bit different in those parts, but it's better than the alternative. Mickey goes into a cross at certain points because when a character lacks the proper animation to do a move, or be hit by a move, they revert to that animation, and cannot move again until hit by an attack. Kingdom Hearts 2 Low Level Twilight Thorn I'm starting a Low Level game in Kingdom Hearts 2. A low level game means I avoid any unnecessary fights to keep at the lowest level possible. My difficulty is Proud. Twilight Thorn is tougher than you think it'd be. Because I'm at level 1 right now and on proud mode, it's attacks are pretty strong and one too many mistakes and I'm dead. KH2FM Lv1 Twilight Thorn (No Damage) It's finally here. My level 1 adventure has begun. I will rate my videos by difficulty just like Apulapul2000 and Bizkit047, except mine will be out of 10. I will also give a long description of the fight. This guy is pretty challenging for the first fight of the game, but he's still not a problem. His attacks are pretty predictable, so this makes it so you know what to do. Please don't say that I copied apulapul2000's strategy where he sticks his head into the ground. I have always used this strategy and I used it before I even knew who apulapul2000 was. He starts off using the same attack, and it can't be blocked, so just sit there. Reaction commands are key in this fight, so always be ready to use them. Once he stands back up, back up and jump so he doesn't hit you. That's when you run all the way to the other side. Kill the Creepers as fast as possible to reduce problems. Reversal up to him and when the reversals stop, attack him. Not much after that.
