AotF Hades Minotaur Handling Join TUGOWU at Gamespot. NO, RLY Nothing new or ground breaking here folks. Just me showing GMG's method of handling Hades Minotaurs one on one with all the subweapons. The tactic relies on the fact that a "false grab" (i.e an attempt to grab when the enemy in question can not be grabbed) will interrupt WHATEVER the Minotaur is doing, it even stops the animation where they ignite their stick. So it works like this. 1, FALSE GRAB: HM reacts with downward strike which you should 2, TRICK through then 3, CIRCLE THE BEAST ANTI CLOCKWISE, this keeps you away from the "swing" attack that it uses to follow up the downward strike 4, HIT IT, it doesn't matter how you hit it or what you hit it with just hit the bloody thing, okay. That about covers it, I tagged a bit of double HM action on at the end to show that this tactic is far from unusable against groups of HM. The Pre Icarus battle and Wave 5 of the Endurance Run spring instantly to mind. Sure this vid isn't going to help anyone finish the game that was previously struggling it is just to illustrate quite a tidy/efficient way of handling Hades Minotaurs in small groups. Don't try it against a herd of 6 of them. that idea is just silly, sure the basic idea works but you will regret ever trying it, getting hit from every direction with unblockable overhead attacks whilst circling your chosen HM is not fun, especially if you are of the mindset to complete the ludicrous challenge just for the sake of it. thanks if you read all that, if you didn't and are just reading the end then don't worry, you probably would not have understood the middle bit anyway. Really folks if GoW is a favoured game of yours then you could do a lot worse than joining TUGOWU at GAMESPOT. Great tips and advise are only a question away and everyone there is REAL friendly like. Sure you could whore the AotF more than I did in the early stages of the fight but I see no need and the sound of continual fleecing and returning gets on my nerves. If you don't take damage and don't use magic you don't need the orbs. A well timed PS after Lahkesis 3 hit combo will put her on her back every time leaving her open to receive damage. (!) On more generous settings I would have kept at mid to long range whored the AotF and fired a few cheeky bow shots in the time between the energy ball being fleeced and it returning to me then gathered the PROFIT (orbs) to recoup the magic but the amount you get with GK makes this risky strategy unwise. Once Lahkesis takes to the sky then you if you are uberpro like bigVEE or ManeshM84 (other GoW pros are available, I just watched their vids for reference) then you can RAEP Lahkesis from the grapple points.
