Red Skelton: Guest - Archie Moore - Part I of VIII The Red Skelton Show enjoyed a television run of almost two decades, from the early 1950s through the early 1970s, receiving three Emmy Awards. It was second to Gunsmoke (1955-1975) and third to The Ed Sullivan Show (1948--1971) in the ratings during that time. Red Skelton was a comic genius who was dearly loved by the American viewing audience. Archie Moore appears in this episode. Moore was light heavyweight world boxing champion between 1952 and 1959 (and again in 1961) and had one of the longest professional careers in the history of boxing. My Skin: Darcy Edwards , Archie "Snake" Simpson an Au request which i had a lot of fun making and i think is awesome. SCENES ARE SPLICED, obviously synopsis: Darcy and Mr. Simpson begin to see each other secretly , and Darcy falls for Mr Simpson hard, who at first is just looking for an escape from his broken marriage and then later feels more. Then Snake tells Darcy that he will leave his wife, but he keeps on saying this and never does, Darcy doesn't believe him so she follows him home one day and sees him playing the happy family with spike. This devastates her and she and Mr.Simpson break up, but Darcy cant let go and everything reminds her of him and of them. She tries to forget him but she cant,she throws away the ring he gives her..but nothing works so finally she tries to commit suicide. Mr Simpson realizes then how much Darcy means to him and decides to resume the relationship for both their sakes.
