Bacteria 2 A game made by Machiki and Simon Donkers. A game we've been working on for a long time. The game runs a LOT smoother than in this video, HyperCam sucks lol. It is available for download here: http://gamemaker.simondonkers.com/example/44 Basically, Bacteria is a hard logic puzzle game that requires thinking and ability to solve puzzles. You play by clicking on your 'bacteria' to take up a certain amount of space on the field. The goal is to make your opponent lose all their bacteria, by taking over them. However, when you do try to take over them, all of it won't be taken over. They follow a special path which can be ended by changing the direction of the bacteria. Yes, sometimes it is better to 'disconnect' your bacteria first, so when your opponent tries to take over, they will only take a little bit of your bacteria. Then, as the bacteria becomes connected, you can then counter attack (do the same thing) to get your bacteria back, and also the bacteria your opponent used to take yours. The Arcade has bombs in it, which when taken over will cloud your bacteria in that place. Even if it is 'disconnected.' The online system lets you join or host a server. To host, you will have to enter your name. Then it will show you your IP adress, the unique code that represents your computer. You must then tell your 'opponent' your IP address. With it, they join the server you made, and let the match begin. During online and single PC multiplayer matches, you are allowed 15 seconds to make your move. If the 15 seconds pass, your turn is skipped. In online play, the host will play as green and then joiner will play as red. I will hopefully make a chat room for asking battles and stuff, so the unpleasant way of messaging on YouTube won't have to be used. Simon Donkers being the a attention seeker he is, didn't really give me much credit. But, oh well, at least this game was a rousing success.
