WAR FOR OIL - RUSSIA defies CEASE FIRE attacks Georgia Port - wants control of ports and OIL pipeline The Communist agenda never stops. Where are all of the Liberal anti-war buffs? Why are so many defending Russia? I guess this exposes that they are actaully anti-American rather than anti-war because it seems to be OK for Russia to attack a democracy supported by western powers. Just watch the comments below. Despite the cease fire, Russian tanks roll into Gori, air strikes sink ships at Georgian port in Poti. Russians bomb civilians and news reporters. Just as in Kosovo / Bosnia / Serbia, the Russians make a public statement that they have halted military operations in Georgia, yet they continue to bomb and shoot any resistance. Killings continue all morning and bombings through the night. Now the russians escalate to attacking ports and civilians. Just as predicted (as I warned in my video yesterday,) the Russian communists defy all truces and cease fire agreements while releasing propaganda denials. RUSSIA breaks truce ATTACKS GEORGIA defies CEASE FIRE tanks troops bombings - FOX News Aug 13 2008. Despite the so-called TRUCE, Russian tanks roll into Gori, air strikes sink ships at Georgian port in Poti. Russia has been funding and training Islamic terrorism for over 40 years.. Zawahiri was trained by the FSB... and on and on. This war has been going on covertly on many fronts, like Iraq, for decades. Remeber that the stockpiles of rifles found in Iraq were all Russian made... so they were providing weapons for the terrorist network all along... and their arms trafficking was more than just rifles. Plus remember how Russia was secretly on the take from the Iraqi oil-for-food program... trading with the Iraqi dictatorship AGAINST sanctions. They gave the terrorist network and Iraq millions of dollars under the table. Come on?! Can't you see? Please connect the dots. The Russian regimes are communist sneaky immoral enemies of freedom... always have been. Olympic ceasefire: Russian and Georgian embrace BEIJING--Russia and Georgia, waging a bloody conflict in central Europe, called a truce at the Olympics on Sunday when two of their competitors wrapped themselves in an emotionally-charged medals podium embrace. The incident happened after the final of the women's 10m Air Pistol shooting event where Natalia Paderina of Russia took silver ahead of Georgia's Nino Salukvadze, who took bronze. "This is a small victory for my people," said the 39-year-old Salukvadze from Tbilisi who has known Paderina since their early days in competition. "When it comes to sport, we will always remain friends and nothing will come between our friendship. "If the world were to draw any lessons from what we do, there wouldn't be any wars. We live in the 21st century after all and we shouldn't stoop so low as to wage wars. Russia Offers Georgia Ceasefire WONG: Russia has ordered a stop to fighting in the country of Georgia and troops are leaving Gori. But actually achieving peace could be much more difficult. STORY: An armored personnel carrier, blackened and burned on the road out of the Georgian town of Gori. It belongs to the Georgian military. They've been forced to retreat in their own country, after heavy clashes with Russian forces. But it appears that fighting could be at an end. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered a stop to his military's operations in Georgia, which he says were designed to force that country's authorities to peace. Fighting began last Friday, when Georgian forces tried to put down pro-Russian separatists in the breakaway region of South Ossetia. But a massive counter-offensive by Russia saw Georgian troops forced back. These soldiers have been moved to defend Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. In that city, the streets are largely deserted. A battle tank guards the main road in. Nearby an Orthodox priest offers prayer. After becoming involved in the fight with the much larger military of Russia, Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili's gamble to push into South Ossetia has been branded reckless by some observers. But many in Tbilisi still back their leader, who called for a ceasefire on Sunday. [Nana Gurgenia, Tbilisi, Georgia Resident]: "Saakashvili's actions? He has stopped the war and withdrew troops, of course we all agree with him." In South Ossetia - the region Georgia went to war to try and regain - Russia is now completely in control. Everywhere in the largest town Tskhinvali, there's evidence of heavy fighting. Some buildings are riddled with bullets, while others burn out of control. In Georgia's other breakaway region Abkhazia, pro-Russian separatist fighters have launched a major push into the strategically critical Kodori Gorge. French president Nicolas Sarkozy has travelled to Moscow to hold peace talks. Russia may have ordered an end to the fighting, but achieving that peace may be much more difficult. Militants declare cease-fire in Lebanon Hello on this Tuesday, the 22 day of May, 2007. I'm Kristin Volk with a UPI Headline Update. Islamic militants are declaring a cease-fire in their battle with the Lebanese army at a refugee camp near Tripoli. The Lebanese army says it made no agreement to this, but would not fire into the camp unless its forces were fired on. Fighting between the two groups began Sunday when Lebanese forces raided a building near Tripoli. Militants from Fatah al-Islam fired on the forces who then returned fire. At least 75 are dead from the clashes. British prosecutors are charging a man with murder in the poisoning death of ex-Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko. They're asking Russia to extradite businessman and former KGB agent Andrei Lugovoi. Lugovoi met Litvinenko in London last November, hours before he got sick. Britain is urging Moscow to participate in this case, but sources say the country won't turn over the suspect to British authorities. Litvinenko opposed President Vladimir Putin and had been granted political asylum in the U.K. The Israeli Prime Minister visited the city of Sderot Monday as militants fired rockets there. Ehud Olmert met with residents of the Israeli city as it's been a recent target of rockets fired from Gaza. Olmert would not take refuge in a bomb shelter when the area was struck, saying if you're staying, I'm staying too. Angry residents accused the prime minister of not doing enough to help and called on him to resign. At least 25 people have been killed in a car bomb explosion at an outdoor Baghdad market. About 60 more are wounded. Today's attack reportedly crushed some buildings and sparked fires. About an hour before the blast, a gunman stopped a family a six just north of Baghdad at a fake police checkpoint, killing all six. Thanks for watching. "THERE IS NO CEASE-FIRE" Aug. 13, 2008. (part 1/3) Cease-fire broken? Witnesses tell CNN that Russian tanks are moving further into Georgia. Source: http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/08/13/georgia.russia.war/index.html#cnnSTCVideo ________________________________________ CITATIONS OF THE DAY: Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili "We are living in an Orwellian world where the Russian federation accuses Georgia of genocide and ethnic cleansing and meanwhile they are doing it exactly right now... There was a temporary ceasefire, that was the understanding. From this morning there is large-scale movement of Russian weapons, of shooting, of armed incidents, rampages through different towns and villages of Georgia... Russian troops are in the process of completing ethnic cleansing of all Georgian-populated areas of Abkhazia and South Ossetia." Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov "The armed forces of the Russian Federation which were sent to South Ossetia to reinforce our peacekeeping forces, they will be withdrawn to Russian territory depending on the extent to which the Georgian troops go back to their barracks. Our peacekeepers will remain in South Ossetia. "The only change relates to the fact that Georgian peacekeepers, who were part of the peacekeeping contingent, but turned out to be simply traitors and cowards and started shooting at their colleagues - of course, they are never again going to appear as part of a peacekeeping contingent in South Ossetia." US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice "The Russians need to stop their military operations, as they have apparently said that they will, but those military operations really do, now, need to stop because calm needs to be restored." source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7556857.stm Tags: "THERE IS NO CEASE-FIRE" Aug. 13 2008.
