NEW FACES PT 1 Superstar track after compiling the original Faces pt 1 video students suggested using a different audio track called "Superstar" so I re-edited the same componenets of the video & gave them what they wanted. Most of the track is instrumentals, but I did add one stanza of verse & chorus at the end. Each part in this series of videos is based on the dame project & each have the same song, but different versions of it that I had edited specifically for this project. Inside my 405 line Standards Converter made from TTL This Standards converter was designed and built as a response to a couple of articles in 405 alive which appeared to activeley discouraged people from having ago at their own designs for some reason. Not really into 405 TV at the time, I read the magazines while staying round my friends house for a few weeks and was facinated by a couple of articles and I was talking with my friend saying why are they trying to put people off- and talking about licensing designs and copyrihgt and stuff. Surely in hobby's people do stuff for the love of it and should encourage people to have a go - no ? Well my friend said if you think you could do it then why don't you have a go. Hey, never challenge emerald48!! - red rag to a bull and all that!!. Yes it was hard to get something very good but the initial prototype was producing usable non-interpolated pictures within three days - pretty cool eh!. With the interpolated version following a couple of weeks later. It would have been quicker except I was being too perfectionist and trying to get my two 16F84 PICs to work with eachother. Once I changed to a single PIC I got something quicker. I'm not interested in copyright and licensing for hobby stuff in such a narrow field so everything I have done will be posted in the public domain whcih was always the plan. However this has been boxed away for four years so I am trying to get all the detail and source code together. Maybe an 'Open Source' standards converter project!!. Is it worth it? You can build a near perfect standards converter today with just one FPGA chip and a few odd componenets. Why didn't I just do that ? - partly because I am electronics hobbyist from the 'old school' of 'real components' and cant program HDL - so there is a steep learning curve, Partly because there is absolutely no fun in programming a 'do everything' FPGA, but mainly, and here's the red rag, because Andy Emerson said in 405 Alive Spring 2001.... "Ill just say that I've had my ears bent by several wiseacres in the last five years who told me how simple it was to make a standards converter with a junker 386 PC or a handful of TTL chips or whatever" "No I dont even wait for them to finish I just wish them luck! That, honestly and sincerely is why *the editors do not advocate any attempt at building a standards converter on a do it yourself basis.* .. Prove me wrong though, I'll offer £50 out of my own pocket to anyone who designs a converter half as good as the dinosaur." Arrhh - What a challenge and fifty quid in it too !!. So 74xxx series it is.. and only stuff that at the time could be boughyt from Farnell, thus palcing much greater restrictions on the design. It was a great challenge and good fun for an electronics buff like me !!. Oh Andy - dont worry about the fifty quid!! I say never be put off by your club magazine!! - always have a go - that's what hobbies are for!!. It is hard but that's the fun and not impossibe but well worth it once you see those piccys on the TV in 405. Please see my other demo vids Website coming soon. Tube Components http://www.hho4free.com Assembling the tubes - This video shows some of the components used to build the cell. The cutting board material is used as insulator spaces between the tubes. As discussed in previous videos, the tubes surrounding the cathode (center tube) are floating. They are held in place by the insulators. The cutting board material is tuffer than a nylon tyes (tyraps). I in no way put down tyraps, I just prefer the cutting board material. It is especially handy when working with wider spacing. The cutting board material can also be used on the bottom of your cell as a failsafe should a tube ever dislodge and fall to the bottom. Cutting board material can also be used for a lid on your cell; assuming you have an imagination. Visit my channel to get details of all of my videos. It will be a learning experience. http://www.youtube.com/daddyo44907 Tags: fuel cell hho h2o electrolysis stainless steel tubes tesla coil cutting board strong sturdy |

HHO Electrical Components http://www.hho4free.com These are the Electrical Parts you need to install the cell in your vehicle. All are available on ebay Circuit Breaker/Fuse: Connects between the Positive of your Battery and your Relay. Relay: Receives Positve from your Circuit Breaker and sends it to your PWM. Your ignition switch wires to the relay so that your cell is turned on and off from the ignition. ON/OFF Switch: You should go a step farther and add an ON/OFF Switch on your dash. Feed your ignition positive to the ON/OFF Switch. Feed the switch to your Relay control. This allows you to turn the cell off while you are driving. PWM - Pulse Width Modulator: Changes your DC Current to Pulses of DC current. This reduces heat caused by straight DC current. PWM also allows you to adjust the amount of current flow, from inside the vehicle. You have to adjust the electrolytes in your water so that they allow your PWM to reach the maximum amount of current the PWM can handle. In other words, you can run a 20 amp PWM in water that is adjusted to conduct at 20 amps. Adjust your water to the PWM, not the PWM to the water. Digital Amp Gauge/Meter: These are available in Analog and Digital models. I use Digital. I get precise measurement. Amp meters require a SHUNT. If the shunt is not built in, you need to purchase one. Shunt: The shunt passes the DC current to the cell. It also allows you to measure the current. If you have a 100 amp meter, you need a 100 amp shunt (or higher). Voltage Isolator: Lets you turn your 12 volts DC into an isolated 5 volts DC (makes it look like a different power source). A Digital amp gauge needs an isolated battery source. If you don't want to do this, use a 9 volt battery to power your digital gauge. You will have to change batteries when they run down. Use the same Amperage parts for your PWM, Relay, and Circuit Breaker. Make sure your Amp Meter can measure that much current. Match your Shunt to your Amp Meter. Visit my channel to get details of all of my videos. It will be a learning experience. http://www.youtube.com/daddyo44907 Tags: HHO hydrogen electrical parts PWM breaker amp meter |
