The missing songs were Paula from Earthbound and teh Lost Woods from Zelda aLttP. I also included the wrong part of the DKC2 song by accident :/ But it's a great song! A LOT of the games are the same, but I disagreed with some of the other song choices, I tried to pick the best songs from the console, and from my personal vgm collection. There are STILL a LOT of good songs out there, so maybe someone else will come up with a good video. OH, and finally there will be no hardcore drum & bass tracks on this one, I can't stand those!!! :P What I really want to do is make a top ten PSX Collection. THAT, I could do something great with! NapstrPSX's Top Ten SNES Compositions This is a response to TomBobBlender's video of his ten favorite SNES tracks. Some track names were edited in order to fit within the text space. I tried to choose music that best represented the spirit of the game. Don't you remember what it was like going through Brinstar for your first time, or putting in all of your character names for Earthbound? There were tons and tons of songs I could have used. Every track in Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger is pure gold. I happen to also like most of the music in The 7th Saga a lot. As you can probably tell, I freaking love SNES RPG's, always have since I was around 9 years old. Hope you enjoyed watching this as much as I enjoyed making it. Fuschia Kimono (composition) my 3rd composition, took me a loooooong time.. this was created with the song "Isabella" by OzielZinho, a great brazilian guitarist, in mind. i had wanted to change my style and add variation to my compositions since i had the habit of being too modal in my other pieces, so i decided to incorporate some minor progressions and melodies in my composition in a new style. at thet time, i had really wanted to create a song similar to his incredible piece, so i decided to transcribe his songs by ear and compose something along the way. since im currently all self taught and soon to be studying under a private teacher, i do not have any good methods of exploring other styles, but figuring songs out by ear and understanding the theory behind it is a really helpful tool for my future compositions. this song in particular may be based on another song, but this is a stepping stone to my future compositions ahead where i will be able to find and develop my own unique style of playing. if you like my videos, you could help me out by pressing the yellow "subscribe" button up top, and i would greatly appreciate it. please rate and comment, and better quality mp3 can be found on my myspace link below. thanks! http://myspace.com/era1004 btw, happy birthday to my mom, whose b-day is today, July 7th.
