UP - "The Kitte" - 1967 Computer Animation In 1967 Russian scientists created the first animated sequence using a computer. The names have been translated from the Russian. I also realise that Kittie appears to be spelt wrong-I took it from the translation, the Russians also use the word Kittie to describe this, although in Anglised Russian it is "Kitte" Another mistake, its Niklaevich Konstantinov, without "a" at the end. Computer Animation Festival Part One This was an old VHS tape that my cousin brought over to my house when we were younger. I just found it again and since it seemed pretty unique, I thought I'd rip it for you guys! I spent many hours watching this back in the early 90s. Locomotion is kind of goofy. Particle Dreams is pretty, but weird. Animals was one of my favorite little segments on this video. They're so demented. There are three in total. This one is the mouse one. Grinning Evil Death was always one of my absolute favorite vids from the tape. I'd watch this one over and over. It's just so awesome. Also, Captain Sarcastic is definitely my personal hero. Mars the Movie still plays in I think the National Musueum of Aeronautics or whatever it's called. More Bells and Whistles was my favorite video from this and I would watch it over and over and OVER.
