L and Raito Cut Like Diamonds This is another slideshow, this time of L and Ratio (Light) from Death Note. (No spoilers) The music is "Cut Like Diamonds" by Span, an awesome Norwegian rock band. The song is in English, so don't worry. This was another of those "I didn't expect to make it" videos. I was just checking my emails, and saw that people liked my "Sexyback" one, so I said, "Hey! Let's Make another!" And so this was born. I really love this song, and I just Finished Reading Death Note. By the way, I make all my vids in one sitting. Orchard of Mines Death Note time! ;D I said I'd eventually make an AMV right? -SPOILERS UP TO EPISODE 35- PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Before I go on with the whole "plot-influenced" theme of this AMV, I would like to thank AmoChan8878 ( http://www.youtube.com/user/AmoChan8878 ) for giving me access to Death Note RAW episodes. Thanks so much again! x33 I gladly appreciate your generosity! It would of taken me forever to find them. (It took like me forever just to find Ouran clips DX) The reason why I chose this song was because I saw another AMV that was a different wordless piece of "Orchard of Mines" by Globus, thus making me inspired to do this one. For those of you who are familiar with it, it's the version of Immediate Music's "Serenata". And if wanna know what AMV I'm talking about, it's this one ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff2TootweBo ) Check it out, it's amazing. Of course, mine is not as good as the other one (and the other has spoilers up to episode 37, which in this one does not)) but, I suppose you can say there are spoilers up to episode 35. Yes... beware that this is my first Death Note AMV, so it's mostly crappy and yet again after watching the results, the timing pissed me off. When listening to this song over and over again, I wanted to make it seem as if L was directing it towards Light and/or Kira as a whole. For example; "And you seem to break like time, So fragile on the inside, Would you look now unto this pit of me on the ground" -- When L finds out Light is Kira while at his deathbed. But...then again, I found it to be Light directing it towards L as well. "I'll say it to be proud; won't have my life turn upside down. Says the man with some, with some gold forged plan, of life so incomplete, like weights strapped around my feet." --'Some gold forged plan' meaning Kira's capture and L personally sending Kira to the death sentence. In other words, I found this song to have alot of meaning not towards not just Light and L, but Death Note in general. So ... please enjoy~! Comments and ratings = loove.
