Rush'd Hour Short Action Movie - A Dillonp23 Production Film Higher Quality Version found: http://www.vimeo.com/662828 This is my new short action movie. It was filmed in 5 days, around 6 hours per day. We slacked of a bit because of the heat on some days (40 degrees celcius!) but finally got it done. Don't forget to check out the bloopers at the end, it almost goes as long as the movie. I used my Sony Hanycam DCR-HC28 to film and edited with Sony Vegas. I colour corrected and made short intro in Adobe After Effects. Mac vs PC: Applications This is my first live broadcasted vlog from http://www.dillonp23.net. It is comparing the default installed Windows and Mac applications such has iMovie vs Windows Movie Maker. Sorry about the quality, it won't happen again. I usually can upload my live streams directly to Youtube from uStream but it was over 10 minutes so I needed to download, and convert then edit out 2 minutes. The I rendered and uploaded to Youtube, it lost quality through that long process so sorry. Don't worry my next vlog's won't go for this long. Exploring Google Maps Street View Feature High Quality: http://www.dillonp23.net/videos/entertainment/street.view.mp4 New in Australia, I have heard it was out in the USA already, sorry about that. Google has released a new feature for Google Maps allowing you too look around as if you were standing at the location. You can pan around 360 degrees, virtually move around the streets and even zoom in and out. Type in your location then click on the 'street view' link to bring it up. It is a very simple to use feature, with amazing possibilities. I use this a lot to find good locations to film movies in, but this can be used in the wrong way as well. Sometime number plates, people, cars and houses can be clearly seen causing a concern of privacy. This feature hopefully will stay up but if not make the most of it now. The Gangsterz Short Film http://www.dillonp23.net/thegangsterz High Quality Version: http://www.dillonp23.net/the.gangsterz.mp4 This is another action movie the crew at Dillonp23 Productions has put together, more action packed, fight scenes, suspense and length than our previous quite popular film 'Rush'd Hour'. This one took around 7 filming days (half were only 1 hour filming days after school). The film is actually not 100% completed, with a few loose ends due to lack of time, weather conditions, actors being sick/busy etc. Enjoy the movie as what it is, and not what it could of been. This was another unscripted, and barely planned movie, so most is on the spot and for no planning in advanced this turned out alright. The next film we make will be fully planned out, start to finish with a lot more talking, a better storyline and we will even write up a storyboard so it is all planned out. A matter in fact we are starting the story now and may film next holidays! Thanks for all the actors for showing up, I know it was bloody freezing some of the days and annoying filming so many days but it was well worth it. There are many mistakes, which I even picked up and as I said earlier a few loose ends which I am aware of.
