Since it didn't say "NO PUBLIC", I decided to show up and videotape the displays and proceedings. Mississauga Transit was right up there front and centre. Two buses and *gasp* the "302" Transit Enforcement Dodge Charger that I'd been waiting to document from the left/front. I videotaped and videotaped and then went back for more and videotaped. Let's put it this way --if the "302" car was a human, the only thing I didn't document was a colonoscopy. Special thanks to the Mississauga Transit Supervisor who allowed me easy access to the inside of the "302" car. MUCH appreciated. The Italian automaker today handed Antonio Manganelli, head of the Italian State Police, the keys to a Gallardo LP560 "Polizia" model that makes the Dodge Charger and Carbon E7 police cars look like a Crown More.. Vic on its last legs. No word where Manganelli is now, but somehow we suspect the 30 officers personally trained by Lamborghini's test drivers will be waiting quite awhile for their turn behind the wheel. The Gallardo Polizia is chock-full of high-tech equipment, not the least of which is that sweet 5.2-liter V10. It'll propel the Gallardo Polizia to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, making it just the thing for chasing down criminals or making a run for espresso and zeppole. We've got more pix and video... The NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agency is notorious for employing uneducated heartless lowlifes to enforce petty nonsensical parking laws. Recently in the news it was reported that a traffic enforcement agent ticketed an elderly man helping his crippled blind wife into their car outside a doctors office. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2008/01/10/2008-01-10_meter_maid_writes_em_a_cruel_ticket-2.html The only time Traffic Officers show discretion and compassion is when it comes to enforcing the law on other traffic officers. In this video, a Sergeant parks his official vehicle illegally in a no parking anytime zone while he runs his personal errands and goes into the bank to use the ATM machine. When confronted he says that the law is clear that when someone is parking to use an ATM machine they must park in a legal metered space.When asked why he didnt park in a legal metered space he said "I need to withdraw money so i can buy breakfast.Should I stay hungry all day because of you?"
