Epic Video: Elite Four - The Failed Attempt I knew I couldn't take them at the levels my Pokemon were at, since I documented each move of the Elite Four in my Walkthrough and knew that Lucian would destroy me in the end thanks to his Bronzong (or I would get PP-owned), but I wanted to try anyway. Just because. So rather than just let it slide or post some summary, I wanted to make some sort of EPIC trailer-esque video to go along with it, because that's just how I roll. Does I gets +9001 VIDEO EDITOR WIN points for using Requiem for a Dream?! Haha ha. Sorry, I couldn't resist. It almost adds to the irony. Yep. But a bit of good news: I do have every video recorded all the way to the end of the Elite Four, including... you know who. And the ending. Yep, it's done, finally, so this is just a teaser for you to salivate over and wonder how the heck I'm going to pull it off. So you'll all know, I used this exact same team at Level 50 to pull off the win, and training videos (kinda boring, but gives good ideas of where to train... and there's music) will be posted tomorrow. I personally LOVE a challenge, and sure, I could just grind and level them all up to level 65 or something, but that wouldn't be any fun. ): Anyway, enjoy the epic teaser trailer summary thing. I don't even know what you'd call this other than mildly disappointing. (And don't just assume that I'm not "good" because I LOST to the Elite Four, lol. Failed Insurgent Attack (WARNING GRAPHIC) *IRAQ* Watch as a group of heavily armed masked Insurgents plan and record their own death by executing a failed attack on U.S. Forces. Soldiers record the aftermath of the attack and confiscate the tape the Insurgents had filmed. I have watched the tape many times and concluded this: Twelve (12) Insurgents gather in a field -minus 1 camera man- lead by a one man. This man must have some prior military experience I believe, but the rest of these men do not. He creates a sand table exercise and goes over it explaining where the drop off point will be, and where to shoot. He produces two(2) toy cars for the sand table. I also see in the sand table he shows two(2) bunker positions. He points those out. Thinking they are in for a easy takeover, they chant and bond as a group. They also pray before they take their last ride and meet their fate. As the men get to the destination they commence shooting automatic AK-47 gunfire towards one(1) elevated bunker position, though two(2) bunkers are visible. They are greeted by one(1) entrenched Marine armed with a M240 machine gun(standard support)sitting at an elevated position above the insurgents. The Marine opens fire. The higher bunker appears to be vacant. As the men scramble and take cover behind the white truck they are sitting ducks because M240 rounds go through sheet metal and the truck provides virtually no cover for them. They try to return fire but the bunker is dug in deep. As the gunfight is at its peak, one of the men is told to take the truck for the plan was a failure and the man goes back in the truck, starts it, then tries to drive off leaving the rest of the men as well as the camera man hiding behind the truck out in the open. The driver is killed. As the camera man runs away he takes several steps when he is also mortally wounded, he falls and you can hear the man say "Allah Akbar" (GOD is great) then the camera shows bullets skipping off the sand in the background as the man passes away. All twelve(12) insurgents die. The videos are confiscated and Marines record the aftermath. Mortal Kombat II: The Failed Fatalities Song: Ladies and Gentlemen. By: Saliva. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my first video. I call it "Mortal Kombat II: The Failed Fatalities", AKA "These just couldn't quite make the final cut...". Like nothing you've ever seen before - I promise you that. I shall call them, as coined by myself and a friend right here on YouTube...Backfire Fatalities. Enjoy. Oh, and...be afraid. Be very afraid. EDIT: Okay, for the curious...this is how I pulled off these Backfire Fatalities. "B163-3D6E Liu Kang's Standard Fireball Stuns Himself" ...is the code I used. Start a match with P1 as Shang Tsung and P2 as Liu Kang (or the reverse; I doubt which side each character is on makes a difference). Have Liu Kang "stun" himself. From there, have Shang Tsung attack the "stun"ned Liu Kang with roundhouse kicks, until Shang Tsung gets knocked back, as if he had taken a hit. You'll probably appear to be unable to move (but can use P2's controller to move!), but if you tap a kick button, you'll come out of it. Either way, finish Liu Kang off with another roundhouse kick. If you fly back once again, Shao Kahn says "Finish Him!", and you appear to "flicker" in and out of your dizzy pose, you're all set. (Oh, and, the Extend Fatality Time SNES-exclusive code helps. Along with B2B8-3D6E, for Fatality Any Round.) Transform into the character of your choice, and do the Fatality (or really, any finisher) of your choice. I've only run into a very few that won't kill the user, even in this state: Liu Kang's "Dragon", as you see in the video. Kung Lao's hat-throwing decapitation, not shown in the video as I simply can't get it to work under these circumstances (though I CAN get it to work "normally," so it's not that). And, I can't think of any others. Yup, as shown in the video, you can even do Stage Fatalities on yourself. (The Tomb's fatal is in the Failed Friendship's video, as an ending bonus type thing.) Now, as you might have seen in the video, Shang Tsung starts to morph back into normal form before hitting the Dead Pool - that, unfortunately, means you must always be a morphed Shang Tsung in order to do the Dead Pool on yourself. Far as I've been able to tell, anyway; believe me, I've tested it. Oh, and, you CAN do this with non-Shang Tsung characters (as proven in my Failed Friendships video), but the method to cause the "flicker" can vary by character. Repeated sweeps often do the trick, though. Helps if you want to do Mileena's Friendship, since otherwise getting her to "flicker" is tough - and far as I know, you can't use Shang Tsung, because morphing to Mileena requires the use of a Punch button, which negates your chance to use a Friendship/Babality.
