Final Fantasy IX Ozma Fight Read this first if you have any questions! - By completing the friendly monsters side-quest, you will make Ozma weak vs shadow damage (where as Ozma normally absorbs shadow damage). - To fight Ozma you must obtain the "gold" upgrade for your chocobo, fly under one of the small, circular shadows found around the world (they will also appear on the world map which can be seen by pressing select a few times) and using a Dead Pepper. - Thieverys damage is = ((# of successful steals * Zidane's Speed)/2) - I did not get "lucky" when I made this video; having Ozma use Doomsday on its first attack is the only way to beat it in one round and, therefore, it was very much my intention to have Ozma use Doomsday first. Final Fantasy IX Piano Collections - Vamo' Alla Flamenco ATTN: A "FF9:VAF" VERSION [2] IS ALSO AVAILABLE! PLEASE VIEW/RATE+ IT LOCATED IN MY PROFILE... THANKS! Well, it's finally (90%?) complete... after ONE WHOLE MONTH of reshaping, renovating and refining the piece Vamo' Alla Flamenco has finally taken its due! Hmm, one might wonder why it would take me a whole month to successfully revise my earlier edition even though I have learned "most" of it two years ago... Well there could be two variables... because this piece is one tough mother fucker with large chord progressions throughout the whole piece this is the reason why it took me a whole month to revise. Or on the other hand... the first time I played this piece, I did not spend enough time practicing it and I sucked! Well hopefully your ears and criticisms can dwindle down a bit... and perhaps more of you will be able to appreciate what this piece truly deserves! There was much nit picking and such with the notes, staccatos, pedaling; AND TOUCH I surprised myself somewhat. The actual FFIX CD (Track 4) piece had some extra "accents" during section B and added a "Gliss" at the end, Luckily I had ears to realize it. Although this piece may not be well deserved as Kyle556's version, hopefully many of you can see my growth as a musician. Note: My speed is actually FFIX CD speed -- 3:00 minutes. For those who believe I need more staccatos (especially for the climax) I just want to let you know I did listen to the CD... and the pianist Lewis Leerink decided not to staccato the climax (the one with the big chords) unlike the first section before the repeat. So please do not tell me I am playing that wrong... Aside from that, Enjoy! (Oh yeah please subscribe to my videos... I am trying to catch up to my brother, ManHoPark). Oh yeah, enjoy the new angle! :) In-Game plot: I had some questions about where this song was located at in the Final Fantasy IX Game. Well this piece and melody had a "Spanish" flavor with an acoustic guitar. It was a rushed yet very catchy theme. This theme actually occurred during the first disk. Do you remember when Zidane and the "Tantalus Gang of Thieves?" Well that Santa Clause (BAKU) guy was the first battle of the game, remember? Well after that during the Opera (a scheme to capture the princess, Garnet) the player (Zidane) eventually got caught up in this "mini-game." This mini-game was like a "Shakespearian" sword fight. And Zidane was performing a dramatized fight scene against Blank (WHO? The dude with the shades, and red hair... Kinda resembles Vegeta from DBZ). Well the player was then supposed to insert the PS-X mash buttons X, O, ^, and []... the mini-game was similar to the DDR/Paraparappa button masher. Well if the player ended up mashing the button sequence correctly the player was awarded shit (I forget). Lol this reminds me of VIVI'S Jump Rope game, so many memories... Meaning: All right, I don't think anyone really knows the meaning of the words: Vamo' Alla Flamenco. Well for those Spanish speakers out there... VAMO means "to go" and AL(LA) means "with" and FLAMENCO means "flamingo." Well at first I never knew what it meant either... then my piano teachers starts asking me if I knew what it meant. And I said "No." Well she starts telling me Flamenco means "flamingo," and then I had this AH-HA moment. She also starts telling me that Flamenco was a type of Spanish dance I guess with the Gypsies... Nobuo Uematsu is genius... he composed and chose great instruments for this piece which added such flair and vibrancy... It almost makes you want to dance! By the way, for those of you are sick of my essays, I HAVE JUST SAVED THE DAY BECAUSE IT WILL END RIGHT HERE! Extra notes: Quoted from Rosicky666: Allá doesn't mean with... I'm from Spain... Vamo' is a short and informal way to say vamos... Most people from andalucía say vamo when they speak cause their accent... (Flamenco is tipical of Andalucía)... Vamos allá flamenco... means... Go there, flamenco... Allá means there... not with... He's like saying to flamenco to go somewhere... So we can translate it like... Let's go there, flamingo! or just Let's go, flamingo!
