Death-defying clips from the 2008 Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling and Wake, where every year fearless competitors from around the world tumble down an almost vertical hill in Gloucester, UK, chasing an 8lb Double Gloucester Cheese. Gloucestershire Wassail piano Gloucestershire (pronounced GLOSS-ter-shire) Wassail is a traditional English Christmas carol. This particular version is my own invention, though I did use a choral arrangement for inspiration, which accounts for the relative polish of the completed work. First Solo Flight, Gloucestershire Airport Filmed on 7th October 2007. I had been waiting to go solo for literally months but MANY problems kept arising. The weather was excellent on the day, mainly cloudy but a great 2kt breeze! Runway 09, left-hand circuit. The aircraft callsign is G-GFCA, which is then shortened to G-CA (golf-charlie-alpha). The aircraft is a Piper Warrior PA28-161. This video is dedicated to all of my family for all their support but mainly to my mum who always assured me learning to fly was the start of good things to come. Flying an aircraft alone for 6 mins at the age of 17 is an unforgettable and unique experience, that only a very small proportion of people will ever understand.
