THIS IS MEANT TO SHOW THE CHART NOT A FULL COMBO RUN OF THE SONG This video was made to help people decide if they feel the AC/DC track pack is a decent purchase for Rock Band. It acts like the track pack volume 1. No online functionality, no character creation, just 18 songs. So all you have are the charts and these should help you decide if you want to buy them. This can only be purchased at Wal Mart. It's 40 dollars on Everything but Playstation 2 where it costs 30 dollars. However, buying it new allows you to export the songs to Rock Band 1 and 2. As a note, the track pack runs on the Rock Band 1 engine. Recorded via Gamebridge, played by me, usually sightread. Had fun with this one, great song, fun little solos. Jazzkantine Hell's Kitchen Highway to hell feat. Tom Gaebel JAZZKANTINE -- Hell's Kitchen Jazzkantine plays Heavy Metal Die Jazzkantine ist immer wieder für Überraschungen gut. Nach der erfolgreichen Fusion von Jazz und HipHop, deutschsprachiger Soulmusik und etlichen Theatermusiken spielt die Jazzkantine nun (ihre) Versionen großer Rock- und Metal-Klassiker der 80er. Auch wenn es sich erst einmal komisch anhört, aber der Grund für so ein Projekt lag auf der Hand. Sind doch die meisten Musiker der Jazzkantine mit der Rockmusik der siebziger und achtziger Jahre aufgewachsen. Haben selbst ähnliche Musik gemacht, auch wenn sich die Richtung später verändert hat. „Wir haben bei der Jazzkantine schon seit langem das ein oder andere Rockstück als Zugabe in unseren Konzerten gecovert", sagt JK-Chefkoch und Produzent Christian Eitner. Außerdem haben ihn schon immer die hohe Live-Energie und die handwerklichen Qualitäten bei Bands wie „AC/DC" oder „Kiss" beeindruckt. Großartiges Handwerk verknüpft mit viel Kreativität hat auch die Jazzkantine wieder einmal abgeliefert. Die Braunschweiger Band erweist sich auf „Hell's Kitchen" bestens eingespielt. Sie groovt, was das Zeug hält und schafft es tatsächlich aus den bekannten „Rockklassikern" eigenständige Songs zu machen, die es ohne Frage mit den Originalen aufnehmen können. Die ausgefeilten Bläser Arrangements von Trompeter Christian Winninghoff, aber auch die harmonischen Variationen der Rhythmusgruppe um Gitarristen Tom Bennecke und die Erchinger-Brüder Dirk und Heie, machen deutlich, dass man durchaus aus einem Rockgitarren-Riff ein Jazzthema köcheln kann. Ohne dabei den typischen Jazzkantinen Sound zu verlieren. Verblüffend ist dabei die Liste der Gastsänger. Shooting-Star Tom Gaebel beispielsweise beeindruckt mit seiner Interpretation von AC/DCs „Highway To Hell" in einer unwiderstehlichen Swing-Version. (das Stück ist zugleich die erste Single-Auskopplung). Sam Leigh-Brown (Frank Pop Ensemble) begeistert mit einer sehr beseelten Jazzbossa-Interpretation von Van Halens „Jump", Pat Appleton (DePhazz) wiederum interpretiert „ I was made for loving you" von Kiss als wunderschöne Jazz- Ballade. Xavier Naidoo hat mit viel Ausdruck und Gefühl die Feinheiten aus Metallicas „Nothing Else Matters" herausgearbeitet, während Dr. Ring Ding mit „Ain´t talkin bout love" für die Reggae-Färbung sorgt. Überraschungsgast Max Mutzke schließlich hat sich an AC/DCs „Back in Black" gewagt und eine erstaunliche Groove-Version davon eingesungen. Einen weiteren Titel der australischen Kultband liefert mit „Hell´s Bells" Louie (Silent Radio), ein langjähriger Weggefährte der Jazzkantine. Last but not least überrascht Kantinen Frontmann Cappuccino mit 2 starken Vocal-Nummer. Auf „Paranoid" (Black Sabbath) und „Iron Horse" (Motörhead) stellt er nachhaltig seine Gesangsqualitäten unter Beweis. Da darf man sich schon auf die nächste Tour freuen - die ist für November 08 geplant. Mit dem in Zürich lebenden, derzeit wohl erfolgreichsten deutschen Jazz-Posaunisten Nils Wogram rundet ein guter Bekannter die Riege der Gastköche ab. Wogram begleitet die Jazzkantine schon seit 1996 immer wieder auf diversen Touren oder Alben. Das Album „Hell's Kitchen" überzeugt auf der ganzen Linie. Erneut hat die Jazzkantine ihre große musikalische Offenheit und ihr Können unter Beweis gestellt. Die alten Fans werden begeistert sein und mit Sicherheit werden viele neue hinzukommen.
