If they attack you, they'll eat your armor. The stuff just breaks, and broken armor is a lot worse than broken weapons. A broken weapon does significantly less damage, but still some. It's NUTS that the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act I am a three time breast cancer survivor. I have a goal in life to help others and make a difference. I want to advocate for others any time that I can. It doesn't have to be about breast cancer, but in this case it is. There is a bill that would appear to be dead in congress with regards to breast cancer patient rights. The disturbing thing about this is the fact that this bill, The Breast Cancer Protection Act, has been introduced to congress each year since 1996. Each year it goes dead after introduction to congress. It has been introduced to the 104th Congress, 105th Congress, 106th Congress, 107th Congress, 108th Congress, 109th Congress, and the 110th Congress. If you check this link http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-119, you will see that H.R. 119, H.R. 758, and S. 458 were all introduced to the 110th Congress in January of 2007 and they all appear to be dead. I suggest reading the bill and understanding it because the purpose of it is to put the decision into the hands of the doctors and patients. Every patient is unique with regard to their overall health and the support system they have at home. These things must be considered when hospital stay decision are made. The fact is that physicians, surgeons, the health care team, and the patient should determine hospital length of stay . . . NOT the insurance companies and their administrators who sit in their corporate offices making decisions based on $$$ instead of what is best for human beings.
