Squig Herder Career Review Destruction/Greenskins/Squigherder.crr Career Counterpart: Shadow Warrior + White Lion The Squig Herder Utilizing squigs as allies against their foes, the squig herder is capible of unleashing devestation upon enemies from a safe distance. On the battlefield, the squig herder can hunt down enemies in many different ways. Range is generally the best implementation of damage, while managing a higher level of survival. The squig herder is however, perfectly capiblt of getting into a battle squig, and charging into melee if he choses. Selection of the squig you use can change the herders gameplay, functioning both as additional damage, a tank, or a suit of armor. Learning which squig to use to best aid your strategy is key, and learning how to use squigs effectively for different situations can greatly increase a herders performance. They are generally considered ranged DPS class, and seem to do more damage at range, but melee is a choice if you really want to go that route. Squig herders are fun to play, and can be a healers best friend, with snare shots, damage and knockbacks, a squig herder can help a healer survive, while doing good damage elsewhere. He can also provide pressure on multiple targets, making an enemy healers job a little more complex. The squigs each have different abilities, and most give the herder buffs while they are alive (ie. Horned squig gives 10% more range on your shots while it is still alive.) Early on, the herder gains the ability to blow up a squig, doing AoE damage to things around it, and making the next squig summon instant. This can be used as a boost of damage early on, before switching to the pet you might use the rest of the fight- but be warned, each squigs summon has a 30 second cooldown (Not shared) which means you may need to plan an order of death of your squigs if you are using them for purposes that you believe will result in their death. In PvE, the herder does great damage, and has its own portable tank, which is nice for soloing. When in a group with a tank, other squigs can provide great additional damage, making a squig herder a valued DPS. This is the first of three Greenskins summaries, Leveling and RvRing/PvEing on every single class in the game has been time consuming, and Im not quite done, I will continue doing this, and am happy to explore careers further if people want to see more, but please bear with me, as there is still a lot more work to be done. Any suggestions, or whatever will be taken into consideration. Thanks for watching. This is all shot in the first area in the Empire vs Chaos called "Nordland." And the scenario there, Nordenwatch, Ive been using the Chaos/Empire pairing, because it is far more active than the other pairings, making RvR easier to find, and thus leveling faster. Squig Herder Gameplay Only level 4, so not too many abilities. Unfortunately the Squig Herder currently seems to have plenty of animation bugs.
