The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun Wikipediaより引用。 ヒア・カムズ・ザ・サン（Here Comes The Sun）は、ジョージ・ハリスン作のフォーク・ロック・バラード。1969年に発表されたビートルズのアルバム『アビイ・ロード』に収録された。「ホワイル・マイ・ギター・ジェントリー・ウィープス」や「サムシング」と並ぶジョージ作の傑作ナンバーである。 この曲はアップルでの打ち合わせに疲れていたジョージがそこを抜け出して親友のエリック・クラプトンの家へ遊びに出掛けた際、その年初めての春らしい日差しを感じていたら自然に歌詞とメロディラインが生まれて、そして仕上がった曲とされている。内容は長かった冬に別れを告げ、春がきた事を歓迎するというものだが、この内容が季節を大事にする日本で大いに受け、1970年に日本でのみシングル・カットされた（シングル「オー!ダーリン」のB面として発表）。 ちなみに、ジョージはこのアルバムで当時は珍しかったモーグ・シンセサイザーでの演奏を披露しているがこの曲は次曲の「ビコーズ」と共にモーグ・シンセサイザーの特徴が生かされた曲といえる。元の音源より少しテープ速度を上げて曲を短くもしている。 余談だが、ジョージは『ダーク・ホース』（日本ではワーナー・パイオニア）移籍第2弾アルバム『慈愛の輝き』（1979年発表）でアンサー・ソング「ヒア・カムズ・ザ・ムーン」を収録している。 ジョン・レノンは演奏に参加していない。（中間部のハンド・クラップには加わっているといわれている） なお、日本の幼児番組「ひらけ!ポンキッキ」のBGMに、この曲の旋律が一部用いられていた。 Tags: ビートルズ アビイ・ロード 太陽 ジョージ・ハリスン
