Guitar Hero 2 - Hangar 18 (Expert) 5 Stars So, last night I was playing through this song on a whim, not thinking I would do this well. Fortunately for me, I had the VCR running on "record" at the time. Since my endeavor to complete every song at a five-star difficulty, I always figured I'd get through Hangar 18 before Misirlou. Just not this soon. I must say that in this run, I had no idea as to what I was doing about 25% in total portion of the entire song. Guitar Hero 2 - Misirlou (Expert) 5 Stars Finally!!! I've been avoiding this run for nearly a couple months now because I got so sick of having to play it with no success of five-starring it. It's been difficult for me to play Misirlou well because I am actually left-hand dominant, so you can imagine how long I had to practice strumming just to get that far. The run itself doesn't look any different from the aesthetic result I'm used to seeing, which is odd enough to leave me baffled as to how I even broke 200,000 in the first place. Of all the inconsistencies in my run, I should have been buried. But I don't care now because I have my log! This leaves only two songs in the bonus tier for me to five-star. Guitar Hero 2 - Surrender (Expert) 100% While most of you should be familiar with the EB Games Guitar Hero II Challenge that occurred yesterday, I signed up and entered at my local Gamestop where I then proceeded to dominate my competition outright. Clenching my t-shirt and gift card in hand, I had some proof then and there of just how skilled I am, regardless of all the negative commenting I've received. On a related note, this is that second 100% run that I failed to record before, which I mentioned in the description of Can't You Hear Me Knockin'. Of course it's not so difficult as most of the other songs as it is quite straightforward. That being said, the only thing I was worried about nailing was the series of yellow and blue notes during the solo as I tend to overstrum that segment. I also have another issue with Star Power placement during the last portion of the song, which I believe could have netted me 300,000, but I'm only a hair more than 2,000 off from that.
