In the end, Light confesses, and is finally taken out of the picture, and Misa realizes that the love of her life has been by her side this entire time. The first part (the red) is of the "future" then we go to the present, Claire is with Sylar, he is trying to fight his need to kill and tries pushing Claire way until he can. Peter is with Niki and their love is not as special because Peter is too busy being a hero. Claire finds out about Sylar's killing for power and doesn't approve. But he's trying to give it all up for her. But later Peter and Sylar get into a fight and Niki has Peter's back as well as Claire having Sylar's.
