IAAF World Cup 1985 - 4x100 women GDR 41.37 WR Notice turbo start by Silke Gladisch-Moller in lane 5! This is another of those freaky athletics records set in those years. It was 1985, in Canberra for the 4th edition of IAAF World Cup, the GDR athletes set the world record for 4x100 metres with an extraterrestrial and still unbeaten 41.37, GDR improved it for the 9th consecutive time and frankly I doubt any relay could beat it.
