Aslan/Jadis - Slipping Away *AU* READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING! This is an AU-vid about Aslan and Jadis as if they were together at first. Then Jadis began to want more and more power and when Aslan tried to stop her she turned him into a lion and sent him off. Now, a long time afterwards, Aslan returns to Narnia and both he and Jadis struggles with their feelings. Aslan both hates what she has done to the land and feels sorry for having to kill her. Jadis believes that she hates Aslan, but also has other feelings for him that makes her confused. It's a quite easy story, I think... Bal Onirique . Jadis et Naguère . cds 2007 And the chant of the night will echo across eternity, through the words from the poets of transgression... As far as the tale goes, it was wrapt in a curtain of smoke, from the Porto underground layer, that Bal Onirique had their dawn... The year and hour of these new tenants, dressed with colours of sacred and profane desire, is a mystery that will continue to endure somewhere amidst the rings of the night and of the times. It is known however that the name Bal Onirique occurred while going through the pages of a book on the Life and Work of the Eternal Salvador Dali which alludes to an assumed celebration of a surrealist ball in 1934. The famous Dream Betrayal (Bal Onirique) took place by the hand of Caresse Crosby, US in honour of Dali before his departure to the old Europe. The description of the sceneries and atmospheres awoke, in the body and soul of the group, an accumulation of sublime Dali-like wanderings, of insane and surreal developments, inherent to and shared by each members celebrated tastes, becoming at once of one the main source of artistic and poetic inspiration of the themes in their texts where Art and Literature are a strong magical and theatrical component. Thus, acquiring the angular and evasive expression in the imagery and surreal universe of their music which is always directed into incorporating spiritual abysms as well as to awake the abysms of our subconsciousness where Love and Death forever dwell in symbolic constant metamorphosis. Allied with this they pantomime with aesthetic ambiguity which is clearly influenced by the archetypes of the late XIX century Dandyism and by the dense and dark outfits of goth character. The nature of the Bal Onirique quintet is composed by: P.A. on vocals; David Teves on the guitar; Francisco on the bass; Jorge on the guitar and Alberto on the drums. The outcome of this union was converted with the beginning of their studio sessions around the Spring of 2006 to record Jadis et Naguère and Slow Lane which had the precious collaboration of Gonçalo Vasco (Coimbras University Radio - 1978) on the recording itself and David Reis (ex-Trauma and Phantom Vision) with the subsequent production. EDMUND:and:JADIS: In:My:Skin Ok, my first Narnia AU vid. First, just wanna say, this is NOT a shipping vid. I'm not trying to show Ed having the hots for the White Witch or anything. Lol. Just in case you were wondering. However, if you're really wanting this to be a shipping vid, I guess it's pretty open to interpretation. So, this vid is about Edmund Pevensie in "Prince Caspian". Everyone knows his character rocked in that movie; he could seriously do no wrong. However, what if he hadn't been so squared away? What if his encounter with Jadis was haunting him everywhere he went? I don't want to go over the entire video, b/c I want there to still be surprises, but I need to point a few things out first. The vid opens shortly after the Pevensies return from Narnia at the end of LWW. Ed gets the feeling that something isn't quite right. It then leaps ahead to their entrance into Narnia from the train station, where Edmund's happiness is short-lived as he immediately realizes his dark past isn't ready to leave him alone. I also changed Edmund's role in the raid against Miraz's castle just a little bit. Ed is placed as a watchman atop the tower, and told to signal for the waiting reinforcements when the battle becomes too much for Peter and his troops. I wanted to show how this could have affected events in the Prince Caspian story. I wanted to show Lucy being very empathetic and worried, and show Peter being very frustrated and scared of the changes he sees in his brother. I also wanted to show Jadis's dark hold on Edmund, and his growing jealousy of Peter's power. This is my last vid for a while. Not a long while, but I need to take a break to finish an important painting. But I promise I'll be back before you know it. I can't live that long without toying around on Vegas. Hope you guys enjoy this different Narnia story, and I'd love to hear your thoughts. Aslan/Jadis - You Should Know This My second Aslan/Jadis-vid :) hope you all like This vid focuses on three periods in Aslan's life (his POV). PERIOD 1 - GREYSCALE As a young prince, he goes around in the different worlds of the universe and one day he meets Jadis. They fall in love, but then Jadis begins to develop magical powers. When Aslan sees her petrify an animal, he confronts her and tells her to leave, that she's a liar. PERIOD 2 - SEPIA Set some time before "Magician's Nephew"; Aslan tries to forget Jadis but he can't. He decides to find her and ask for forgivness, but she says that she can't do it and tries to kill him, but instead he turns into a lion. Ashamed of what he'd become, he flees and hopes he will never see her again. PERIOD 3 - COLOUR This is the present time, the time in the movie. Jadis is the queen of Narnia and Aslan finally returns to save the country. Jadis still hates him, but he finds himself in a battle between his love for her and the love for Narnia.
