Freylekh Jamboree / NIPPON KLEZMER A very rare band from Japan playing Klezmer (Jewish) and Gypsy (Roma) music. The band formed in 1999. Not using any electrical instruments at all, the band's sound reminds one of nostalgic circus music and old jass bands.(The electric guitar player is participating as a guest player.) With all the different backgrounds of the musicians from Ding-Dong(A Japanese advertising Marching Band), Jazz, Rock, Pop, New Orleans, Latin, Musette, Irish, to Classical, and their free style performance, the band is able to create a distinctive world of their own. They are active on the streets, event spaces, and clubs in and around Osaka. They played together and opened for bands like: "Fanfare Ciocarlia" a Rumanian Gypsy brass band, "Think of One" from Belgium, and "Willem Breuker Kollektief" from Holland, and more... Jamboree scout. 400 jeunes venus du Burundi, de Belgique, du Congo et du Rwanda se retrouvent pour vivre ensemble la rencontre des cultures et de la paix sous des valeurs de fraternité, de justice et d'entreprise. Parce qu'il faut oser loger sous tente à 15 km de Bukavu, alors que les médias annoncent en continu les pires nouvelles et passent sous silence cette réalité de paix. Cela fait réfléchir ceux qui pensent que rien n'est possible dans la région des grands lacs. Au même moment, 500 jeunes se retrouvent à Kasongo pour les JDJ journées diocésaines des jeunes avec unt troupe scoute de La Hulpe de Bruxelles - Belgique. Certains ont fait plus de 200km à pied à travers la forêt. Et une équipe de Jeunesse & santé de Tournai Belgique est là pour la première fois à Bukavu pour créer du lien avec les mutualistes du Sud ! Bukavu July 2007.
