So please don't ask for second or third movements because I do not have them. You also get to see a bit of Heifetz acting at the end. A great treat! Conductor: Fritz Reiner This is my favorite rendition of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. I think Heifetz played a bit faster than in his recording. He plays Sarasate's famous Composition, 'Zigeunerweisen' with London Symphony Orchestra with Sir John Barbirolli conducting. Recorded for RCA Victor in 1937. The Sound Quality is Excellent, but there's a severe groove crack in Side B, so there is a little pause between 08:36 - 08:37.
