Fender Elvis Costello Jazzmaster with Lollar pickups Demo Fender Elvis Costello Jazzmaster Demo. This time,I tried old funk style. Part 1 is played by no modified E.Costello JM. Part 2 is E.C.JM with Lollar Jazzmaster Pickups. The original Fender pickups are special designed for Costelo JM. Different from the current model (62 Vintage JM reissue) At first moment I played this,I thought Costello JM is much better than 62Reissue. Fat and extended highend. Soon I replaced the pickups to Lollar Jazzmaster pickups. Lollar pickups has higher output at mid-lo(around 300-400Hz?) range. So fatter and smoother than the original's. Recording configurations JM -Siegmund tube pre-Orange head -Axetrak-Trident 4T micpre-RME Fireface 800-Mac with Logic pro7.2 No plugin effects for the guitars except total reverb.
