Paolo Marshall JCM 800 2203 mods This is a work in progress demo of the mods on my JCM 800. So far I've fitted it out with KT77s and done numerous gain and tone mods. It's recorded using a digital camera and is heavily attenuated by a Hot Plate @ -16dB to avoid having the cops come around for a visit!! Still working idea's for the additonal hole that was drilled by the previous owner, thinking of a PPIMV or resonance control. Any comments, suggestions and/or critisisms are welcome. Blues jam with a Marshall JCM 800 Combo (mod.4210) Hello. In this video I do a little blues improvisation with a friends Marshall amp. It's a Marshall JCM 800 combo, mod. 4210. I think this little amp rocks, but It would have been nice if the amp had a little more distortion in it. But you can always use a distortion/overdrive pedal to get that extra gain. Anyway, I'm playing over a backing track called "Live With Me BT" or something... I used a condenser microphone this time - MXL 990. The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard Desert Burst -05 with Seymour Duncans. I have only one master volume and one master tone control, the other two works as spin-a-splits, which splits the humbuckers, which you can hear if you listen carefully. Still don't know if this is the amp for me, but I like the sound and feel it gives. Hope you'll enjoy it! Bterry Marshall 4010 jcm 800 Loud,crappy and out of tune, just for you Well, some one wanted to hear what this little combo sounded like louder. so I turned it up and did some yankin, noodlin, and messin around. Ive played better, but I just wanted to get on with life and eat dinner, so I didnt re do this. Here it is, basicaly what it sounds like. oh ya the farttyness is I think I hooked up the Tube buffer effects loop b+ supply, wrong. so, Im goni put it on the bench and fix that. Yes it was so I moved that to after the first 10k 1wattvresistor,no8 for those who know,(so mabye I will redo this). Oh ya I tried to show my fingers while leaning over but I guess I missed the camera angle oops! Effects used: Keeley compressor on 10 and 2:00 thats all. Jcm 800 in the sun; gain on 8 master on 2 treble 2-4 middle 2-4 (depends on the mood} bass 10 (mabye should lower that at high vol (duh))) anyway, just one 7 min slice of life, when I could have been doing something real important. Wait nothing more important tht playing guitar. oh I did say eating. Mabye I will fix this one with a better one sometime I'll let you know. so what catagory does this fit in to?
