STENCH I : Murcof, Helena Gough, Hilary Jeffery + more 1st Stench night @ The Y Theater, Leicester. Murcof (Leaf) sonimatics, scapes and micro sounds Murcof, aka Fernando Corona, originates from Mexico and is now resident in Barcelona. His music is characterised by 'microcosmic' soundscapes, haunting drones, intimate minimal textures and striped-back beats. His new album, Cosmos, is released on the Leaf label, and is grandeur in scale than his previous work, and draws on a palette of sounds derived predominantly from acoustic instruments. Murcof's performances incorporate multi-channel sound diffusion and projections of his video works. www.murcof.com Helena Gough (Entr'acte) statis and constant flux Helena Gough is a Birmingham-based sound artist. Her debut solo release can be found on the Entr'acte record label. Her work involves the collection and manipulation of 'real-world' sound material and the exploration of its abstract properties. Each new sound piece is created by taking everything possible from the tiniest element - working to create something from nearly nothing. www.helenagough.net Hilary Jeffery (FMR) with Tron Kristmas octophonic tromboscillations Hilary Jeffery, British born but now based in Amsterdam, is a trombonist and improviser working in the field of contemporary and electronic music. Dr. Jeffery MacDonald's Family's Murderer Confesses 1/5 In this video former FBI chief Ted Gunderson interviews Helena Stoeckley, now deceased, who was one of the satanic cult members who murdered the family of Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald during the night of February 17, 1970. Helena describes in vivid detail how she was high on drugs and perpetrated this murderous blood-letting with other members of her satanic cult. Dr. MacDonald was prosecuted for the crime by the U.S. Government to cover for the cult and cover up the fact that the cult and U.S. Army worked together to import illegal drugs from Southeast Asia. He remains wrongfully imprisoned today because law enforcement authorities refused to act on Helena's confession to release this innocent man. Hollywood produced the movie 'Fatal Vision' based on these murders. http://www.free10dvds.com http://www.themacdonaldcase.org/ http://thesenatorhillary.blogspot.com http://www.scribd.com/doc/533316/Information-on-the-Dr-Jeffrey-MacDonald-Investigation Tags: dr jeffrey macdonald murder family satanic drugs cult coverup conspiracy army |

Jeffery Laudenslager "Hokusai" Kinetic Sculpture From the exhibition Sculpture in Motion at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on view through October 2008 and curated by Brigitte Micmacker from Sculpturesite Gallery. Curator's commentary: "Jeffery Laudenslager has taken the dramatic periods of perceived danger so interesting to George Rickey to an extreme in his elegant works, and he expresses the predicament of the nearly colliding elements most eloquently, aided by the speed he gains using the extremely light-weight and resilient metal titanium. But it is the long, sweet release into graceful recovery that is Laudenslager's signature. Hokusai, a fluid twenty foot tall work inspired by the nineteenth century Japanese artist's woodblock prints illustrating waves, is composed of three counter-weighted and slightly curved titanium elements, attached sequentially to a larger stainless steel beam, that undulate freely then suddenly revert in a puzzling swoop." My Take on the Jeffery Method Horsemen the world over from Clinton Anderson to Pat Parelli owe a debt of gratitude to Australian horseman Kel Jeffery. His method of gentling and handling a horse is both a common sense approach, and one that combines the elements of feel, timing and balance in such a way that there is a great deal of communication possible. This is simply a SMALL portion of my version of Mr. Jeffery's method. To truly understand his method, I would look up the video by Maurice Wright, which includes footage of Mr. Jeffery gentling a colt at age 75. This video is not meant to be a complete, in depth representation of Mr. Jeffery's method, but rather an example of how I have interpretted them and put them to use. This example is derived simply from my experiences handling horses using my own implementation of this technique. It is in no way intended to instruct anyone on Kel Jeffery's methods. The intention of this piece is simply to explain how I use them, and hopefully get some people to discover what this master horseman pioneered many years ago. Horse handling can be dangerous, and I in no way accept responsibility for the misuse of this technique. Please refer to people with greater experience than I, if you wish to further investigate this technique. Tags: Roland Millington Backyard Horsemanship. |

Jeffery Laudenslager "Mikoshi" Kinetic Sculpture Part of the exhibition Sculpture in Motion at the Atlanta Botanical Garden through October 2008, curated by Brigitte Micmacker of Sculpturesite Gallery. Curator's commentary: "Jeffery Laudenslager has taken the dramatic periods of perceived danger that George Rickey favored to an extreme in his elegant works, and he expresses the predicament of the nearly colliding elements most eloquently, aided by the speed he gains using the extremely light-weight and resilient metal titanium. But it is the long, sweet release into graceful recovery that is Laudenslager's signature. Mikoshi, created specifically for its magnificent site in the Howell Fountain, is a sensuous work based on the Yin-Yang symbol."
