Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu desu Okay, well, I decided to look up some Kunio-Kun games. For those of you unaware, these are the gems such as River City Ransom, Crash 'n the Boys, and Nintendo World Cup - all great NES games. However, there were a lot of withheld Kunio-Kun games as well, including sequels to Nintendo World Cup and Crash 'n the Boys. There was even a basketball game using three baskets! Anyways, pictured here is one of the games I liked - a brawler called Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu. I created a character and took him through Story Mode, got his levels up, and then I copied down the password (which was in hiragana) and went to the free-for-all mode. For reference, my character (not sure of the name) is the one wearing the judo clothing, the headband, and he can't stop looking at the camera. My opponents are Kunio, Riki, and a third opponent I'll call Mike. If you can't recognize it, Kunio wears short shorts and a muscle shirt, Riki wears everyday clothing, and Mike wears no shirt and black pants - sort of like Liu Kang. Anyways, this is an unedited series of free-for-all fighting between the four of us. I managed to fit six fights into this video but I didn't edit them at all. I might make more fights between other characters. Also, sorry people who wanted to see Kunio or Riki win. I might do storyline fights soon, maybe. Kakutou Densetsu: マーコ vs The Ox and Monkey. And I thought the last fight against these guys was rough.... This time I go after them without my crew behind me. Suffice to say, it took me several tries to finally be able to beat them consistently... and even now it's still not easy. But PolarIceAge was able to do it, so I figured, why not me? (his fight is here if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91ld1hVcdHU Still, I think it might be a bit easier to beat them with his character than mine, since his does more damage at close range, and I have to run around like a lunatic to perform my best damaging move. Still, at least it kept me mobile. If you ever decided to take these two characters on, some tips: - 1: NEVER STAY STILL!! Keep moving. - 2: Make sure your reflexes and timing are at an all time high before taking these two on, otherwise you won't have a ghost of a chance against them. - 3: As PolarIceAge advises, try to get rid of Monkey first. His speed is really annoying, and with his hick kick stat, it's also pretty dangerous as well. If you get rid of him first, then beating the slower yet mighty ox becomes much easier, since he won't have Speedy Gonzalez to save him when he's getting beaten up. - 4: Once you have an opening, BE AGGRESSIVE! These guys take a hell of a lot of hits to beat (if your characters don't have super stats that is), so you really need to pour on the damage when you can. When you see an opening, pounce on them immediately. This also goes for when they try a team up attack... if you're close enough to reach out and hit them when they try one, DO IT! You can usually get free hits that way. - 5: Remember that old step up/step down while attacking trick we used to use in other beat em ups? It's your best friend here... when they give you a chance to do it that is. Anyways, hope you enjoy this. (By the way, I am aware of the wall not being lined up correctly, but actually this is the best way I can set up this stage. For those in the know, this stage is based on Stage 12, so the part of the wall that you see them going into is actually the open part of the fence in Stage 12. I knew this would be a problem, but I really, really wanted to make a wider stage than the usual Stage 8 variants. Kakutou Densetsu Battle Royal Went and had a little battle royal with 4 teams. Including my team Oklahoma. I also found out how to make my own cheerleader along with messing around with her stats. Team Oklahoma's Cheerleader, I just used babel fish and put steroids there because of the insane stat boost I let her give you. The other two I made are pretty much even stat boosters. Ranma MV Musabetsu Kakutou-Icchokusen~Panda wa Uta o Utaenai Yet another official Ranma music video that was not released in the US. The japanese title is Musabetsu Kakutou - Icchokusen ~ Panda wa Uta o Utaenai. Sorry if I cut the spaces in between in the title up above, however that was the only way to get the entire title in the title bar. The english title is Anything Goes Martial Arts - A Straight Line ~ Panda Can't Sing. Unfortunately I have neither the japanese nor the english version of the song lyrics. Kakutou Densetsu. Vs. Tiger Twins. Vs. Dragon Twins I take on both the Tiger Twins and the Dragon Twins in this. I manage to beat the Tiger Twins but the dragons got the upper hand on me sadly. Kakutou Densetsu: Zodiac Fighters challenge the Shi Ken Nou. This video was actually recorded back on Oct 1, but I wanted to wait till I did a few more "serious" videos first. However, since I'm recovering from my wisdom teeth being pulled, might as well toss this out huh? Man was this a crazy fight. I got two "challenger" characters from AznSwordGod, and it took just about everything I had to win. Considering that it was 4 against 2, and those two were WINNING... well, that should tell you something. There are three fights here. The first one... well, we get our asses kicked. The second one we were doing well, but then got hit with some bad luck, well that and the fact that for some reason my partners kept hitting ME (mumble grumble). I could have won in the end, but thanks to a bad move on my part, the guy was able to recoup and win. You'll see what I mean. The third fight we finally won... I made sure that we all worked as a team... that and I just went all out ruthless. By the way, the two characters we are fighting against are the Ox and the Monkey... I'm you'll be able to guess who's who. And Shi Ken Nou stands for "Four Fist Kings", the name I gave the characters based my brothers and I. Hope this entertains guys. Kakutou Densetsu: Clash of the Nekketsu Titans I got my hands on 920kun's downloads as well and I have to say. I love them. But, I didn't want to take every single thing. I just got what I wanted and I also decided to add a few characters and do a clash of the titans type battle. I go and do these battles on three of my favorite stages.
