Monsieur Kamayatsu, Vodka Collins On Tour Monsieur Kamayatsu on a tour of Japan with his band Vodka Collins in the late 1990s. Monsieur is shaking hands and entertaining the travellers. He is singing a melody over and over in this clip which sounds very like the "twilight zone" theme. Monsieur was a founding member of the Japanese Group Sounds The Spiders, who were a very popular band. Tags: Monsieur Kamayatsu Karasu Spiders GS Vodka-Collins |

Monsieur, Alan Merrill, WOW, Vodka Collins Group Sounds veterans, the ancient Tokyo band Vodka Collins perform W.O.W. (world of whores) in Tokyo 1997, at Nissan Power Station. A cynical lyric deriding the flesh trade is the theme of this punk rock song, which appeared on the band's Pink Soup album out that year. You strut it down the street cruising for some action you're always dressed to thrill your victims to extraction In a world of whores love is just a vice In a world of whores every heart is chrystalized ice You soak 'em like a sponge for every penny you can get and when you drain the blood you still ain't finished with 'em yet In a world of whores love is just a vice In a world of whores every heart is chrystalized ice I wonder how it feels being so cruel underneath I watch you kickin up your spike heels and hissing insults through your teeth In a world of whores love is just a vice In a world of whores every heart is chrystalized ice Words & music Alan Merrill 1996. Arrows, I Love Rock N Roll, Alan Merrill The original a-side version from 1975 by the band Arrows. Produced by Mickie Most and written by the band's Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker, this song was later covered by Joan Jett, Britney Spears, and many more. Lead vocals & bass guitar by Alan Merrill, guitar & backing vocals by Jake Hooker, and drums and backing vocals by Paul Varley. The Arrows released both an a-side version and a b-side version of this particular song. Having their own TV series, the band recorded many versions of their songs for performance on the show, in accordance with musician's union rules at the time. The video was made in three locations. The park is Berkeley Square, London England, W1, the street scenes are on Charles Street, same area. The performance was filmed on Quay Street in Manchester England, at the Granada/ITV studios. This clip aired on Granada/ITV in 1976, produced by Muriel Young and directed by Peter Walker. Clip trivia: The mystery man standing by the tree with the Arrows at the end of this clip is Monsieur Kamayatsu of the legendary Japanese band The Spiders. Cosmic oddity: Arrows singer Alan Merrill and Joan Jett are both left handed, but play their instruments right handed. More trivia- Joan Jett was initially introduced to her manager Kenny Laguna by a tv producer named Alan Sacks. Arrows singer Alan Merrill's legal birth name is Allan Sachs, same pronounciation. A little eerie, don't you think? Tags: arrows pop glam glitter uk 70s alan-merrill jake-hooker paul-varley I-Love-Rock-N-Roll |

monsieur kamayatsu&dexied the emons/may she come mom? This music is an original number made because of CD to which this tune is recordinged. From spiders daisakusen tribute to the spiders. The Spiders is 60's japanese GS band. GS is 60's japanese music culture. GS→group sounds and garage sound. By the way, Mr. monsieur kamayatsu who was participating in this tune was a guitarist of the spiders original member. He was well versed in the music of british beat considerably early in Japan at that time in the 60's. And, it was a person who researched variously and contributed to the tune making. ※This sentence was translated on the English translation site in Japan. I'm sorry poor english. Vodka Collins, Miss Cadillac, Chemical Reaction Nissin Power Station features the veteran glam rock band Vodka Collins with a song from their 1996 Polystar Records album Chemical Reaction. This glam rock song was originally written in 1971, and was performed live by the band then, but never made it on the band's debut album "Tokyo - New York." Vodka Collins reunion tours were sort of necromantic, with people wondering if one of these dedicated rock n roll hedonists would die on tour. During the 70s a tight musical unit, the group changed in the 90s into the antithesis of the popular notion of the uniform and precise technically perfect Japanese band. Loose is a conservative descriptive for this act. "Miss Cadillac" - lyrics Oh your headlight eyes how they paralyze, yes they do I can see your hot erotic point of view So get ready Miss Cadillac I'm gonna rock you like a heart attack my teenage dream Cross a beach of smoke through all these jokes I'll drive your car You're so pink I shout pout and roll you out we can dance bizarre So get ready Miss Cadillac I'm gonna rock you like a heart attack my teenage dream Words & music Alan Merrill 1971 Polystar Music Co.
