O Lord Waheguru ji! ਆਲਾ ਤੇ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਾ ਜਮ ਕਾਰਣਾ Ālā ṯė nivārṇā jam kārṇā. Save me from attachment to material which is the cause of pain of Spiritual death. ਪਹਿਲ ਪੁਰੀਏ ਪੁੰਡਰਕ ਵਨਾ ॥ Pahil purīė pundrak vanā. First of all, bloomed the lotuses in the woods, ਤਾ ਚੇ ਹੰਸਾ ਸਗਲੇ ਜਨਾਂ ॥ Ŧā cẖė hansā saglė janāʼn. from it came into being all the creatures and the swans. ਕ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਨਾ ਤੇ ਜਾਨਊ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਚੰਤੀ ਨਾਚਨਾ Krisnā ṯė jānū har har nācẖanṯī nācẖnā. Know, that only under command and will of the Waheguru ji the creation is dancing (came into existence). ਪਹਿਲ ਪੁਰਸਾਬਿਰਾ Pahil pursābirā. First Lord Waheguru ji becomes manifest. ਅਥੋਨ ਪੁਰਸਾਦਮਰਾ Athon pursāḏmarā. From that Primal Being issued forth mammon. ਸਗਾ ਅਸ ਉਸਗਾ ॥ Asgā as usgā. verything is of that Lord Waheguru ji. ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਬਾਗਰਾ ਨਾਚੈ ਪਿੰਧੀ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਗਰਾ Har kā bāgrā nācẖai pinḏẖī meh sāgrā. In this garden of Lord Waheguru ji, the mortals dance like the water in the ports. ਨਾਚੰਤੀ ਗੋਪੀ ਜੰਨਾ ॥ Nācẖanṯī gopī jannā. The women and men dance alike. ਨਈਆ ਤੇ ਬੈਰੇ ਕੰਨਾ ॥ Naīā ṯė bairė kanna. Without the Lord Waheguru ji, there is not another. ਤਰਕੁ ਨ ਚਾ ॥ Ŧarak na cẖā. Level thou no criticism against it, ਭ੍ਰਮੀਆ ਚਾ Bẖarmīā cẖā. as this criticism is born of doubt alone. ਕੇਸਵਾ ਬਚਉਨੀ ਅਈਏ ਮਈਏ ਏਕ ਆਨ ਜੀਉ Kėsvā bacẖunī aīė maīė ėk ān jīo. ||2|| The Lord Waheguru ji says, "This world and I are but one and the same" . ਪਿੰਧੀ ਉਭਕਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥ Pinḏẖī ubẖkalė sansārā. The mortals of the world are stay in the continuous cycle of death and birth revolving , pots of the Persian wheel which go down in the well come up, empty and go down agaim ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਆਏ ਤੁਮ ਚੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ॥ Bẖaram bẖaram āė ṯum cẖė ḏuārā. I am the dust of the beloved Gurusikh saint's feet, and I seek their protection. ਮੈਂ ਸਨੇਹੀ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਣ ਭਾਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਓਟ ਸਤਾਣੀ ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਗਹਣਾ संत हमारी ओट सताणी संत हमारा गहणा Sanṯ hamārī ot saṯāṇī sanṯ hamārā gahṇā. The Gursikh saints are my powerful prop, and the saints my ornaments. ਸਾਧੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਗਹਿਣਾ-ਗੱਟਾ ਹਨ। ਹਮ ਸੰਤਨ ਸਿਉ ਬਣਿ ਆਈ हम संतन सिउ बणि आई Ham sanṯan sio baṇ āī. I am in hand and glove with the Gursikh saints. ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਘਿਓ ਖਿਚੜੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਈ पूरबि लिखिआ पाई Pūrab likẖiā pāī. I have obtained blissful result of deeds of past lives, preordained for me. ਜੋ ਕੁਛ ਧੁਰੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਈ इहु मनु तेरा भाई Ih man ṯėrā bẖāī. O Gursikhs, my brethren, this mind follows you ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਓ ਇਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤਨ ਸਿਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਲੇਵਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੰਤਨ ਸਿਉ ਬਿਉਹਾਰਾ संतन सिउ मेरी लेवा देवी संतन सिउ बिउहारा Sanṯan sio mėrī lėvā ḏėvī sanṯan sio biuhārā. With the Gursikh saints are my dealings, and with the saints is my business. ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ ਲੈਣ ਦੇਣ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਵਣਜ ਵਪਾਰ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤਨ ਸਿਉ ਹਮ ਲਾਹਾ ਖਾਟਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ संतन सिउ हम लाहा खाटिआ हरि भगति भरे भंडारा Sanṯan sio ham lāhā kẖātiā har bẖagaṯ bẖarė bẖandārā. From the Gursikh saints I have earned the profit of Nam simran and my mind's treasure is filled with Waheguru ji's devotional service. ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਉਠਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦਾ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਮਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤਨ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਸਉਪੀ ਤਉ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਧੋਖਾ संतन मो कउ पूंजी सउपी तउ उतरिआ मन का धोखा Sanṯan mo kao pūnjī saupī ṯao uṯriā man kā ḏẖokẖā. The Gursikh saints gave me the capital of the Lord Waheguru ji's Nam, and I was then rid of my mind's anxiety. (ਜਦ)ਂ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਤਦ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਫਿਕਰ ਅੰਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਅਬ ਕਹਾ ਕਰੈਗੋ ਜਉ ਫਾਟਿਓ ਸਗਲੋ ਲੇਖਾ धरम राइ अब कहा करैगो जउ फाटिओ सगलो लेखा Ḏẖaram rāė ab kahā karaigo jao fātio saglo lėkẖā. What can the angel karma official do now, when all his account books are torn up? ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ ਹੁਣ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਹੀਆਂ ਪਾਟ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮਹਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਭਏ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਪਰਸਾਦੇ महा अनंद भए सुखु पाइआ संतन कै परसादे Mahā anand bẖaė sukẖ pāiā sanṯan kai parsāḏė. By the Gursikh Saints' grace and guidance, I have become supremely blissful, and have obtained peace. ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਥੀ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਬਿਸਮਾਦੇ कहु नानक हरि सिउ मनु मानिआ रंगि रते बिसमादे Kaho Nānak har sio man māniā rang raṯė bismāḏė.
