"MARGIE" (1946) "Margie" is a great 'lost' 1946 romantic comedy. Though filmed in Technicolor, it has yet to be released on DVD. Jeanne Crain plays Margie McDuff, a teenage girl in 1928, who has a 'nut' for a grandmother, an undertaker for a father, a crush on her high school French teacher, and a pair of bloomers that find the most inconvenient times to slip down around her ankles.
