Marluxia Tribute - Dude Looks Like a Lady. Well... I started on a serious Marluxia tribute that soon turned into a Demyx/Marluxia tribute, and then the audio was being weird, so... I got frustrated and turned on my Media Player, and lo and behold, Dude Looks Like a Lady was on mah playlist. Rather than suffer from boredom, I decided to waste a few hours making this amv. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ Marluxia battle in a nutshell Absent Silhouette fight with Marluxia. Had to trim it down, but nothing else happens that isn't in the video. Pretty crappy quality but that's what happens with CRTs and webcams. Proud Mode, level 59(earlier save than my other fights), Oblivion keyblade EDIT: I only use Guard Break and no combo pluses because I tested out his hit response...if you do too many hits he'll recover faster, and being able to do three Guard Breaks does more damage than bringing him into the air with Explosion/Finish Rise or extending your first combo. KH2FM - Larxene & Marluxia Note: This video uses Codebreaker codes. Okay, so my friend ended up giving me an EXP x64 code. So I just used it and got myself to LV99 on a seperate save slot in like 5 minutes. CoR + Final Room + Magenga + Thundaga Combo = +10 levels. Or something close to that. So anyway now I can do better hacked fights. First up, again, I try to re-do Marluxia & Larxene. Of course, apparently being LV99 doesn't stop Larxene from killing you before you can even move. So I try to raise my defense with another code. Still die. Try getting Ribbons (Yea I know there are better Accessories to protect against Thunder). Didn't work. Tried Magic. Works MOST of the time. You can still die though. So just like smartguy05 did, I have stat boosts to survive the fight, especially the beginning. But thanks to that I can finally turn off that crappy infinite HP code. Because honestly, even though I did use codes to get theses stats, you could get them the legit way, it'd just take like 5 hours. Which I don't want to do just for a hacked fight. But about the fight, it's pretty tough. Larxene, even though it's the AS version, combos you like crazy. Marluxia still isn't that bad though. It's just together it's hard to deal with them. But thank god for Ultima Weapon's MP Hastega, else I'd have not been able to use Curaga as much (I also only had one Ether left, forgot to buy some more from whenever that save slot was from). It was pretty cool to see both of them happen to do their desperation moves at the same time though. So even with boosting defense and magic, and equipping 4 Ribbons, you can still die pretty easily. And fortunately Second Chance + Once More saved me a few times. BUT it was fun. Also, the music is Lord of the Castle from KH:ReCoM. I thought it fit well with the fight. First of all I originally intended to do a Sora and Riku vs. Final 2nd Xemnas Data but the room mod does not work work since the room mod (Zexion's fight area/Destiny Islands is located in Hollow Bastion and Final 2nd Xemnas Data battle is in TWTNW) meaning to say that using the code with different worlds won't work for bosses. So I decided to come up with an alternative which ended up to be this. In case you're wondering I used a Sora Model Mod Code. Normal Sora using Limit Form Model, Limit Form using Normal Sora Model, and Final Form using Antiform Model. It's great to see Limit Form Model use magic now (gives it a KH1 feel). One note is that using Aerial Finish too much can freeze the game when the keyblade gets too shiny. For the glitches, if you do Xemnas Facedown RC, both you and Xemnas will soon fall down endlessly unless you can reach the island soon. Doing that together with Marluxia's DM is cool but the problem is when Marluxia is going to do the final blow to his DM he will end up falling down endlessly as you and Xemnas are off the island so technically you won't be able to beat Marluxia. Other than that the glitch isn't too serious. KH2FM - Marluxia No Damage/Limit/Magic/Drive/etc (LV1 CM) Finally, I got to fight Marluxia in my LV1 challenge. If you haven't figured it out already, I love fighting this guy. He's just too fun. But I beat him pretty easy at LV 18, and getting no damage in his data version at LV 18. So of course, I'm going to put some restrictions on to challenge myself further this time around. But then again, it's not like I'm allowed to get hit anyway, since one hit of anything = dead. So I came up with a challenge that has even more restrictions than Apul's Marluxia restriction fight. Here are the rules: No Damage No Magic No Drives No Limits No Items No Summons No Guardian Soul Keyblade No using stat boosts Must be LV1 Must be Critical Mode Must do this before completing Beast's Castle the second time, and before Port Royal and Olympus You CAN equip any ability you currently have, though I had a lot on that I didn't need, I'm just too lazy to take some off. Yes, wow. This means no Reflect or Limits to save you. Using no Magic means you can't stop his thorn move. So how do you avoid getting hit with it? Well I remember watching during my Marluxia & Larxene video that if you Guard while getting attacked while the thorn thing is around you, it explodes without damaging you. So I wanted to try that out in this fight. And what do you know, it works perfectly. Other than that move, the rest should be simple to figure out. The hardest part is by far his Desperation Move. The Dodge Roll method works but it makes it risky if you're in the middle of a Dodge Roll right before he throws his sycthe at you. Then you have to do three Quick Runs to avoid getting hit. You know, now that I think about it. I wonder if Guard would work. That would have made dodging that attack a lot easier at the end. Anyway, the last Quick Run has to have PERFECT timing. If you do it too early, you're dead. Too late, you're dead. Dodge Roll would probably work too, but since it's only LV2, it's very risky for that kind of drop down move. The rest is easy, at least to me. Marluxia is pretty much 100% predictable. Just watch out if he jumps towards you while you have the thorns around you. If you don't go to the left or right side, he'll just push you into a red spot and you'll die. But if you're on the side, he'll push you close to it, but not close enough to get killed. Also beware, about 4-6 of those red spot moves, he'll do the spinning scythe move, don't let that drag you into the spots. The end of the video shows stats, abilities, everything. I even go to the World Map to prove I haven't beaten Beast's Castle yet.
