MOAB (Mother Of All Bombs) The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb (MOAB) (colloquially known as the Mother Of All Bombs) is a large-yield conventional bomb developed for the United States military by Albert L. Weimorts Jr. At the time of development, it was touted as the most powerful non-nuclear weapon ever designed.[1] The bomb was designed to be delivered by a C-130. Since then, Russia has tested their "Father of All Bombs" and has claimed it to be four times more powerful than the MOAB Tags: united states air force atomic bomb bunker buster explosion jet military speed plane mach cool future stealth power |

Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 - Steel Bender Trail As luck would have it, our first morning in Moab was met with freezing cold temperatures and steady snow still falling from the storm that followed us in the day before. And, while there was a bit of a break in the weather as we headed into town for some breakfast, the forecast still called for more snow later in the day and so we decided to do our first official Project-JK Easter Jeep Safari 2008 run up Steel Bender with both the top and doors on. Unfortunately for us, Jen (toad) and Jeff (Bullfrog) had other obligations they needed to attend to that day so the only people that would be going on this run would be Jason (SDMF), Cindy (WOLette) and I. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Steel Bender, it is a beautiful trail that takes you through impressive canyons, multiple water crossings, up over ledge after ledge (most can be bypassed) and across plateaus with outstanding views. However, I should note that there is one steep ledge that you will have to slide down (there is no bypass) and it will deliver a good pucker factor as there is a big ass drop-off to the right that just so happens to have a landing that's bit off camber in that direction. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this video. In the event you are interested, Jason is driving a black 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon 2-door with a Currie Rock Jock Suspension System, 35" Cooper SST's, LoD Rear Bumper Tire Carrier, Shrockworks Mid-Width Front Bumper, WARN M8000 winch and Rock Hard 4x4 Parts Sports Cage. Cindy and I have a white Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited 4-door sitting on top of a Full Traction 4" Ultimate Lift, 37" Toyo MT's on Walker Evans Beadlocks, PUREJEEP front bumper/rear bumper tire carrier/rocker guards/CAI and outfitted with a WARN PowerPlant. Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 - Elephant Hill This Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 YouTube video is of a run that we did up the elephant hill trail. along for the ride was toad and Bullfrog in their Rescue Green 2.5" TeraFlex budget boosted Jeep JK Wrangler X, Wayne, his wife Kathy and son Aaron in their Silver 4" Full Traction Ultimate Lifted Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited sitting on 37" MTR's and Brian (Bracket) and his wife Lauren in their Red Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon sitting on top of a huge 6" Skyjacker long arm lift and 37" BFG Krawlers and us in our JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited sitting on a Full Traction 4" Ultimate Lift, 37" Toyo MT's, Walker Evans Beadlocks, PUREJEEP front and rear bumpers and rocker guards, Superior 5.13 gears and AlloyUSA front Chromoly shafts. Elephant Hill is by far one of the most beautiful trails (if not the most beautiful) in the Moab area that I have been on. located south of Moab in Canyonlands, you will have to pay a small entrance fee to get in but it's worth every penny. the trail itself isn't very difficult but there are a few sections along the way that have big enough rocks and ledges to negotiate that might give a stock Jeep some trouble and is why it gets a most difficult rating. If you do this trail, make sure to do the 1/2 mile hike up to the Confluence Overlook as the view is simply outstanding. Hope you enjoy the video! Fiery Furnace Arches National Park Moab, Utah - Gary Leatham Wow we found it AMAZING to play outside in nature ... and highly recommend it to all! It's so fun to cast the notes and hear them echo back to you off the walls. Here Gary Leatham is playing a Woodsounds Native American style flute solo outdoors at Surprise Arch, in Fiery Furnace, within in Arches National Park, Moab, Utah. The flute is a Midrange F#m Buckeye Burl, with Natural Burl End & Perched Eagle Totem. The video was recorded by Brent Haines with minicam using only the on-camera microphone about 50' away. This amazing walled chamber, carved by the wind, has an awesome natural echo effect. And feels other-worldly to play here with the arch over your head! Gary is the world flute player for Ancient Sounds (www.ancientsounds.org). He plays Native American Flute, Japanese Shakuhachi, Irish Flute & Whistle, and various Oriental & South American flutes for the group he co-founded with Wife Margo. Ancient Sounds has 8 musician members and an active performance schedule(vocalists, percussionists, keyboardists & piano player, guitars & didgeridoos). www.woodsounds.com Tags: Native American Flute World Music Spiritual Moab Arches Utah Sedona |

Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 - Kane Creek Trail This Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 YouTube video is of a sunset run that we did up the Kane Creek Trail. Along for the ride was SDMF in his Black Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon sitting on a Currie Rock Jock suspension system and 35" Cooper SST's, toad and Bullfrog in their Rescue Green 2.5" TeraFlex budget boosted Jeep JK Wrangler X, Wayne, his wife Kathy and son Aaron in their Silver 4" Full Traction Ultimate Lifted Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited sitting on 37" MTR's and Brian (Bracket) and his wife Lauren in their Red Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon sitting on top of a huge 6" Skyjacker long arm lift and 37" BFG Krawlers. Kane Creek is for the most part an easy and extremely beautiful trail located just outside the town of Moab but there are times when the creek, which you have to cross numerous times, can be deep enough to be impassable. And, there are also a few rocky ledges situated on a high shelf road towards the end of the trail that'll provide some fun for a modified JK but might be quite difficult for a stock Jeep to negotiate if not make it impossible without some assistance. And, perhaps these are the reasons why the trail gets a 'difficult' rating. Hope you enjoy the video! Project-JK Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2008 - The Rock 5 The Rock is an annual off-roading event that Superior Axle & Gear and Full Traction Suspension put on at Area BFE during Moab Easter Jeep Safari and is it ever a ton of fun. This was my 3rd time attending this event and 2nd time as Project-JK.com in our 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. However, this time around, we came sitting on a Full Traction 4" Ultimate Lift, 1" M.O.R.E. body lift, 37x13.50 Toyo M/T's mounted on Walker Evans beadlocks and armored up with PUREJEEP bumpers and rocker guards. Along for the ride was Jen (toad) and Jeff (bullfrog) in the 2-door X sitting on a TeraFlex 2.5" budget boost and 35" Toyo M/T's, Jason (SDMF) in his 2-door Rubicon sitting on a Currie Rock Jock JK suspension system, 35" Cooper SST's, Shrockworks Mid-Width front bumper and LoD Rear Bumper and Wayne, Kat and Aaron in their JK Rubicon Unlimited sitting on top of a Full Traction 4" Ultimate Lift, 37" Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's, AEV beadlocks, front bumper and corner guards and Rock Hard rear bumper, rocker guards and sport cage. The trail we ran at this year's. the Rock V, was Greenday and with the exception of one TJ taking a dump, we all came out damage free. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video from our day in Area BFE.
