In this video, he is 2.5 years old and was asymptomatic when diagnosed with SM at age 1.5, with symptoms only becoming apparent around age 2. In this clip you can see a typical scratching session -- this one lasts 30 seconds and was only interrupted because another dog eventually distracts him. Before going on to gabapentin (Neurontin), he had such sessions up to a dozen times daily, each lasting up to two minutes, most often first thing in the morning then late at night, and during the night they may wake him from sleep. So where is moderate Islam? If there is "moderate Islam", where are its voices? None of this video is very original, I'm afraid; I'm merely echoing some sentiments aired - and to be honest, much more eloquently too - by others here. I'm jumping on the bandwagon here, to add my voice to the chorus, so to speak. I tried my best to be as calm and measured as possible whilst making this video, in the hope that by doing that I'll provoke something other than a knee-jerk reaction. I'm not interested in people posting third party evidence and arguments that moderate Islam exists. Prove it by posting an unequivocal condemnation of violence and hate speech perpetrated in the name of your religion. I also see little point in people posting such videos or comments if they are apostates or secularised non-practicing muslims. That would only enforce the pre-conception that active Islam and peace cannot coexist. I am inviting people to state that they are devout, practicing muslims, and then denounce this hatred and violence, without equivocation. No ifs, no buts, no weasel words. Tags: moderate islam
