The full text of Todd Tabacco remarks is as follows: It is nice to be back in Belmar!!!... Like most of you I've been coming here with my friends and family for as long as I can remember. We love Belmar.... By now we've all heard about the horrible things Ken Pringle has said about us... I'm not here to spend any more time repeating Ken Pringle's failures as a leader and elected representative of this community. We love Belmar and we have ALL invested in it. (Applause) Instead, today I want to talk about the things Ken Pringle didn't mention... He didn't talk about the many parents from Staten Island that come to Belmar every summer to spend a day at the beach with their children. The moms with their daughters... The fathers and their sons... He didn't thank Staten Islanders for occupying 77% of the rental properties in Belmar every summer. Or spending money in the shops and restaurants. He didn't show any appreciation for the $millions of dollars we spend in this community every year... Ken Pringle did not honor us. But what is more important is that Ken Pringle -did-not-honor-the people-of Belmar... So today WE launch a petition to recall Ken Pringle... (Applause) WE will go door to door in this town to re-introduce ourselves to each resident. WE will ask each business owner who thrives from our income - to work with us. WE will not stop until Ken Pringle is forced to recognize that what he said is simply not acceptable.
