Baron Samedi Samhain Spell Here's one of my favorite spells/mini-rituals. Watch the video to learn how to make your own Baron Samedi image and ask for his blessings. My uses of color are non-traditional so let me explain them. Black for masculine strength. The Baron often wears black and is a strong protector of both the dead and living. Red for his passion for living. The Baron enjoys wine, women and song and is a fine dancer. I call upon the Baron year round, for healings, protection, and protection of my ancestral dead. He is also great for contacting the spirit world. As you can see, Baron Samedi can be very loving and kind. The doll and ritual with spell are meant to share my love of the Baron with you, and give you comfort. Samhain (Halloween) has to be my favorite holiday. Witches and magic are everywhere, children trick or treat, and the dead are welcomed back with open arms.
