An Asinine Video of OU "Vice President" Clarke Stroud [This video was originally placed at youtube by someone else but was taken down after I informed an anonymous skunk who was sending me hostile messages that I was circulating the link to it. The skunk was using the youtube name "MPWisCreepy." He was probably either Clarke Stroud or a friend of Stroud.] Yes, the howling maniac in the video who identifies himself as Clarke Stroud really is Clarke Stroud, a moronic buffoon appointed by University of Oklahoma president David Boren, another buffoon, to the title of "vice president for student affairs." Boren has a special fondness for young dumb meatheads like Stroud, who was only 32 when Boren gave him this exalted title. Stroud's highest degree is an easy master's from a non-thesis educational program at OU. Stroud was also an undergraduate at OU and in that period was called up for a disciplinary proceeding. He is proud of having been a Ruf-Nek then. The Ruf-Neks are a male "spirit" squad who blast their amplified shotguns after every OU football touchdown. In the 2004 game with Nebraska, they mercilessly harassed the Nebraska team during their pre-game warm-up. Their tactics were obnoxious heckling and filling the air with noise and smoke from their booming shotguns. Stroud was waiting tables in Chicago after graduating from OU. Then he worked a crony connection at OU and got hired in housing and food services. David Boren, meanwhile, resigned from his U.S. Senate seat in 1994, after successfully manipulating the OU regents into making him president there. The year before, the gay press had begun to out Boren and accuse him of sexually harassing his male staff members. After Boren arrived at OU, he took a liking to young Stroud, and put him on the fast track for the easy master's. Then it was -- presto ! -- instant vice-president ! In 2004, OU frat pledge Blake Hammontree, also under-age, drank himself to death at a binge drinking party.
