Slipmatt - SMD#1 (Side A) For me, this tune changed the entire scene. Back in 1993 then scene was pretty much a whole. Happier tunes were played along side "Dark Side" and everyone danced. I think this was the first real Happy Harcore tune, some people loved it and others hated it quickly labelling it "Chessy Rave". It's one of the classics of the old skool and defined every 4/4 or Happy Hardcore tune that came after it. P.s. for those people who think i have got this tune off back to the oldskool but i got it off my vinyl, i only got the pic from the site coz it was easier than searchin on discogs. mine has the full intro and i think the one on b2tos has it, all tunes off my vinyl, i dont download! Dreamscape 6 DJ Slipmatt Ten minute clip of DJ Slipmatt set at Dreamscape 7, 28th May 1993. As I'm going away travelling (hopefully for good!) I found loads of old stuff like this so thought I would upload them for others to enjoy and/or reminisce! I plan on putting every Dreamscape set ever on here but please be patient as this obviously takes a little time! At the moment I am just selecting random ones of different eras and styles but eventually will be complete. Any requests then of course let me know and I will push them further up the queue!!! There is of course a ten-minute limit on Youtube so these are samples but I will upload some sets in their entirety if they are popular or requested.. I also have links for most of these entire sets online for free download so don't be afraid to ask me! Most are in pretty good quality buy understandably some of the low quality tapes from those day have taken a battering.
