It has been 125 years since football was introduced in the Land of the morning calm. For years football had been one of the driving force of Korean life. During Japanese imperialism football meant hope for freedom and relieving resentment. During Korean War it meant consolation and peace. Despite of having dealt with many atrocities, Koreans never gave up hope. Their 'fighting spirits' (Too-Hon) is well represented in their style of football. Korea joined FIFA and made their first World Cup appearance in 1954. In 56 and 60, Korea won two Asian Cup titles, thus emerging as major football power in Asia. From 1986, Korea has made 6 consecutive appearances at the World Cup, making them the only Asian country to achieve most appearance with 7. Finally, their long awaited first win came in 2002 and reached to semi-finals. Korea has come a long way since their humble beginnings, in its 125 years of football history they have produced star players such as Cha Bum-Keun, Huh Jung-Moo, and Park Ji-Sung. Despite many hardships and atrocities, Koreans never gave up. That passion and spirit 'Too-Hon' still lives today in people's daily lives and in football as well.

Tae Guk Gi: Brotherhood of War [1-17] *Eng Sub*

Brothers Jin-Seok (Bin Won) and Jin-Tae (Dong-Kun Jang) come from a family whose unremitting struggle with poverty has led them to place all their hopes in Jin-seok, the younger of the two. His older brother Jin-Tae shines shoes in order to raise money to send him to university, while their mother runs a noodle shop; the patriarch has passed away, leaving the little family to fend for themselves. Their precarious aspirations are shattered by the outbreak of the Korean War, when Jin-Seok is drafted and Jin-Tae joins up as well, in order to work for his brother's release. He has neither the influence nor the financial means to send Jin-Seok back home; his only hope lies in the acceptance of dangerous missions that will earn him the Medal of Honor and his brother's release. Jin-Seok, however, does not understand his brother's intentions, and mistakes his valiant bravery for misplaced patriotism and greedy ambition, until finally and tragically he is confronted by the truth. Upon its release, this moving war drama became the hightest-grossing film in Korea.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Me( http://www.myspace.com/alekshamon )playing Hokage's Funeral from Naruto and a song from a Korean war movie, Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War. To all those people who ask if im Korean or Japanese... i am NOT Korean or Japanese, i am 100% Vietnamese. (but it doesnt matter, we all look alike :D) ^(obviously, that was intended as a joke, so dont be a bitch about it, okay?) AND TO YOU NEANDERTHALS ASKING ME FOR MUSIC: i dont have sheets for Tae Guk Gi because i learnt that by ear. and i currently dont have the link to hokages funeral, but if you go to this: http://www.alphatrance.com/0engine/music/anime/get.php?file=naruto-ai-to-shuu.pdf look for "Ai tu Shu" under "Naruto" its simular to hokages funeral. and yes, the camera wont sit still. my cousin was recording and he has a slight retardation in his left forefinger.
