Was only about 5,000 away from gold on this, but that's a pretty small gap, and this was a pretty solid run, so yeah. This song's got probably some of the fastest rolls in the game: definitely an awesome song, but then again, everything in the Thrash pack is. Rock Band - Expert Guitar - Thrasher 5* EDIT : To clarify the "toughest song" comment - this is THE toughest song to consistently 5* I've ever tried - even songs like TTFAF and DWDTG are really simple to 5* once you've played them a few times - because of the insanely tight timing window for a song of this speed, and the relatively tough solos, I still only 5* it occasionally! Possibly the toughest song in any plastic guitar bashing game so far - this song has been out for about 2 weeks, and still only 7 people have 5*'d it as per XBL leader boards. This was a good run, but I really dropped the ball in the last solo when I completely screwed up the one fast run, which, had I hit it, would have probably put me over 200K (with the 100% solos bonus). So why would you essentially insert of a clone of the song, chart it as though Raining Blood and Misirlou had a baby, and insert it into a harsh grading engine. Raining Blood is tolerable in GH3 because of the easy HOPO system. Not in RB. Unless you love injured hands and guitars, do not buy this song. It's been 45 minutes since I played this and my arms still twitching. If you do like the song, I believe the game rates it as the hardest guitar song out right now. Gold Stars - Thrasher - by Evile - Expert Drums 201,925 Gold Stars (1st Place on all systems & Scorehero) This is to show my progress so far. I was the first to get Gold Stars on this song last week, but this is the 3rd or 4th GS run I've made so far. It's a little ironic that I can't stand thrash metal, haha. At 0:59, you'll notice I immediately broke my combo. The bass notes are just completely out of sync with the 16th notes I'm playing on the red pad. As you can see from the 3 rolls near the end (starting at 2:44)...I had no trouble with those. This isn't just coincidental...I've consistently seen the same outcome over the past week.
