GH2 - TTFAF Replica -----------PLEASE READ------------ This is my Replica of the GH3 version of Through the Fire and Flames for GH2. I wanted to know what it would be like on the GH2 engine. The note chart is identical, except for 2 notes that should have been small sustains, only making a difference of about 50 points total. My audio runs on a little longer than the GH3 version. My chart has 54 more notes than the GH3 version, all in the section at the end that goes R-O-R-B-R-O-R-B-R-O-R-B, You all know what I am talking about. The timesignature is also off, I didn't bother to set that, so the SP runs a little longer in my chart. I am close to a 5* of the song on GH3, but it much harder to keep combo in required places to get a good score. It really depends on what point you want make to choose if it is harder on GH3 or GH2. As skill oriented, it is harder on GH2. GH3 is just overall harder to pass because of the engine having a low tolerance for missing notes, allowing you to fail faster. The intro is about the same, although it is easier to make your way through one handed, it is also easier to break combo while tapping. The fast strumming sections are much easier to keep combo in GH3, because it doesn't count your strums when you strum them. In GH3 you can strum too fast and it will match them up with the notes for you, unless you are strumming entirely too fast, but if you are around the general speed it will match it up for you. In GH2 you have to be much more precise when you hit another button, such as G to O. The hammeron mixes up your strum pattern if you hit the O a little early, the matchup in GH2 isn't game assisted at all, it's all you. Most of the slow parts (or hand resting sections if you don't have endurance) that require a lot of strumming, are mostly HOs in the GH2 engine. It makes it a lot easier to keep combo in those places. The solo, in my opinion is a lot easier to keep combo in the majority of it. For one, there aren't any random strums to drive you crazy. You also don't have to wait for the GH3 engine to hit the HO for you. (In GH3 you hold the fret down, and when the gem crosses the fretbar, it hits the HO for you). In GH2, when you hit the fret, the note gets hit, allowing for leeway on your timing to get faster or slower to even yourself out. The crazy parts that are just retarded make you fail faster in GH2. This doesn't mean that GH2 makes you fail faster. If you didn't try to hit any of the notes, GH3 would bring your meter down farther. GH2 isn't as forgiving as GH3. The impossible sections are even more impossible to hit. I failed at the end of the red snake my first time through the song because I missed so many notes. GH3 really lets you get lucky with fingerspam. My opinion GH2 is better than GH3. GH2 is more skill oriented, and it is just more fun. It's my opinion (the fun part), and I'm sticking to it. This video isn't my best run. I barely squeaked by with a 4* in my best run, maybe only because I have a lower Timesignature. NO, I will not send you this chart. Remake it yourself, it wasn't hard. The BPM on changes twice. From one BPM to another, and back. You may be wondering how I charted the red snake, simple, I doubled the bpm and charted them as 32nd notes. It came out perfectly. TTFAF Expert The only way I could get this sumbitch on youtube was to record it via low quality resolution on my digital camera. I have an old (aka crappy) laptop that's incapable of supporting any real media software, so trying to record high quality and then compressing this is not possible until I can afford a better computer & all the "good stuff" that comes with newer technology. I'm not like some children who have their parents buy them this shit, I'm 26 years old, I have bills to pay. To minimize the black bar effect you normally get on tv's, I recorded my playing of the game on a vhs tape, & then just recorded that with my camera to upload here. It could be worse. I could be a poser who records himself playing on practice and then tries to hide the fact that it's on practice, making a pathetic attempt to say "I beat teh song! lolzers zomfg roflcopter!" I admit it, I suck on this song, I've played it a billion times and only passed it twice (as of this posting). I just can't get past Sam's solo half the time. And yes, I play the real guitar. I'm slowly teaching myself how to play, since I can't afford a teacher like some rich people out there who have mom and dad pay for everything. Seriously, to all you "real" musicians out there, it's a freakin' game, why are you so threatened? I'm a real Soldier, I don't go to other people's channels and comment on their GRAW/RS: Vegas/Halo 2/Halo 3 videos saying "Try that in real life! Loser!" Jeez. And if you feel like saying "he's got no fail cheat on" then look at the bloody rock meter, you can see the colors fluctuate between green yellow, and red. I actually go into the red several times. I suck, I know, but at least I beat it, unlike some posers who play it only on practice and try to hide it. I also used this same recording on my Guitar Hero's Hero Tribute video. GH3 - Dragonforce- TTFAF Tap Intro - How To! - Tutorial ***PLEASE READ*** Okay so we have some sensitive people watching this video, so im sorry about saying noobs use their elbows, it was JOKE people so if u could stop yelling at me because u use your elbow i would appreciate it, stop being so damn sensitive and lightin up.... Audiosurf: Dragonforce - TtFaF (Ninjamono Ironmode, stealth) This is a stealth, clean finish run of Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames with Ninja Mono, in Ironmode (no fins). Guitar Hero Demonstration Speech Part II (TTFAF) Me actually demonstrating guitar hero for speech. I play TTFAF. Thomas, ur head is being viewed nationally. Just to clarify some questions: 1. I got around 820,000 on the run 2. Obviously, everyone in the whole school already knew that I was ONE OF THE TOP (sorry for the confusion, thats what i meant in the first place...) in the world at guitar hero. So this speech wasn't that shocking. 3. Im not worried about my social status being affected by this speech, my friends aren't gonna change because of it. TTFAF Wii Wi-Fi Here's me vs. my friend (YouTube channel: tubeuser233) on Through the Fire and Flames on expert. I'm only uploading this video to show the problems with my (or his) wi-fi. We keep getting disconnected, and most of the time my Wii completely freezes. It's 100% unresponsive and I have to hold down the power button on the Wii for like 5 seconds. I totally suck at this song on expert, so I don't want any comments about how bad I am! I still have a problem with strumming both up and down at the same time. I can never get the rhythms right or I'm not steady, so I always switch to just frantically flipping the strumbar up and down for the fast notes (usually at the wrong tempo) to trying to strum down the whole time for the slightly slower notes, which makes me mess up even more than I already am... Anyways I'm wondering if lots of other people's Wiis have frozen like this. It's really annoying how one time the song will be perfectly smooth all the way through, and others it'll have so much lag you can't get a single note, and then it might even freeze.
