E3 2008 Exclusive Gameplay Professor Heinz Wolff's GRAVITY WII AND NINTENDO DS Professor Heinz Wolff is at it again. After hosting the Great Egg Race, a British television series in which contestants built machines to safely transport eggs, he is bringing his brand of head-scratching puzzles to the Wii, PC, and Nintendo DS. In Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity, you play through 100 increasingly difficult puzzles in which you must use a variety of items and, predictably, the laws of gravity to press a button. We got our hands on the DS version of Gravity at E3 2008 in Los Angeles and were caught scratching our heads on the very first level. Here's how it works. You have a button. This button needs to get pressed. We had at our disposal three marbles that could be placed anywhere on the screen with the stylus. When you hit the start button, a giant ball drops down a ramp but then is stopped by a platform. You can hit the start button over and over again to see how the puzzle will react to your item placement. In this instance, we finally solved the puzzle by placing one marble next to the spot where the giant ball drops. When the ball drops, it hits the marble under the platform, then knocks your second marble, which in turn knocks the final marble into the button. Sound confusing? That was just the first level. It will be interesting to see what items will be included besides marbles in the later levels. If you need a hand, the Professor himself will offer onscreen help and tips, something we're pretty sure we're going to need on the more advanced levels. In addition to the 100 puzzles, Gravity will feature 20 wide-open sandbox levels that play like a puzzle version of a skirmish mode. We didn't see them in action, but each version of Gravity will include four multiplayer minigames, and the PC version will feature a level editor so you can create your own levels, although we are not yet sure if those can be shared online with your friends. Integrou-se à FEB como voluntário, Nasceu em Rio Negro, Paraná em 1912 engajou na vida militar ao completar 18 anos de idade fazendo parte do extinto 15º Blh. de Caçadores, hoje o 20º Blh. de Ifantaria Blindada, o Batalhão Max Wolff Filho. Na frente Itáliana empreendeu como voluntário em diversas missões de alto risco, era conhecido e admirado por muitos e sempre saía triunfante, sendo condecorado com a "Star Bronze" Norte-americana, até que em sua última missão, comandando 19 escaramuçadores da FEB, cuja a escolha deste homens fora criteriosa, por destacarem em ações anteriores de Bravura. Foi proxímo à região de Montese quando ele fazia reconhecimento na chamada "terra de ninguém" (ponto intermediário, sem domínio de disputa de duas forças antagônicas), o SGT. Max Wolff era o "ponta" de sua patrulha, e ao avançar é atingido fatalmente por uma rápida rajada de metralhadora. Leiam a transcrição do jornalista Joel Silveira: "Vimos quando os homens apontaram na terra de ninguém e seguiram cautelosos pela estrada deserta. O sargento havia transformado seus pentes de munição num colar que o sol incendiava. Levava o capacete de aço debaixo do braço e a pequena Thompson apontada para a frente. Nossa artilharia, à esquerda, cessara de atirar, e agora era um silêncio total. O Tenente Otávio Costa me disse: - Não é possível que os alemães estejam ali. O primeiro objetivo da patrulha eram as três casas... O grupo cercou os três edifícios arruinados, e o sargento empurrou com o pé a porta de uma delas. Vimos quando ele entrou e fez um sinal para seus homens: novamente as duas fileiras espaçadas voltaram a caminhar pelos campos proibidos. Fazia um sol muito claro e alguma coisa uma vidraça partida ou um esqueleto de munição cintilava forte nas ruínas de Montese. As duas e meia da tarde, a patrulha estava a menos de 100 metros do último objetivo a ser atingido: um novo grupo de casas sobre uma lombada macia. O Sargento Wolff deu seus últimos passos à frente. Então uma gargalhada curta e nervosa (rajada da MG42) encheu o silêncio do vale e o Sargento Wolff caiu de bruços sobre a grama. Os outros homens se agacharam, rápidos, e os alemães começaram a atirar, bloqueando nossos homens com uma chuva de granadas de mão e rajadas de metralhadora. Sacudiram depois para o ar foguetes iluminativos, pedindo fogo de suas baterias, e minutos depois os projéteis da artilharia nazista assobiavam sobre nós e iam explodir no caminho percorrido pela patrulha.
