My Response: G4 TV "X-Play" Grand Theft Childhood. Adam Sessler interviews the author of the new book "Grand Theft Childhood" Lawrence Cutner, Cheryl Olsen. They are directors and co-founders of the Harvard Medical School Center for Mental Health and Media. Some interesting findings: Not playing video games affects socializing amongst males. Playing nothing but violent, M-rated video games for extend periods of time increases the risk for disruptive behavior from the teen. Virginia Tech massacre instigator, Sun Lee Cho had very little experience and interaction with video games. Games nowadays are more "simulations" that allow more creativity and interaction, even social interaction, like with the Nintendo Wii. Rock Band 2 setlist leak on X-Play, original broadcast This is an excerpt from the "Gaming Update" segment on G4's X-Play show which originally aired at 8:00 PM EST on 7/1/2008. This broadcast shows a screencap of what is presumably a song selection screen from the upcoming Rock Band 2 game, with the highlighted song being "Give It Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other song titles in the list include "Panic Attack" (presumably by Dream Theater), "Chop Suey" (p.b. System Of A Down), "Everlong" (p.b. Foo Fighters), "Kids In America" (p.b. Kim Wilde), "Ace Of Spades" (p.b. Motorhead), "Hello There" (p.b. Cheap Trick), "Anyway You Want It" (p.b. Journey), and "Pinball Wizard" (p.b. The Who). Additionally it shows the number (2) next to these songs and an alternate icon next to two songs already available as DLC, "More Than A Feeling" by Boston and "All The Small Things" by Blink-182.
