One of the most recognizable and sought after Sentai toys! Just because everybody wants one doesn't mean it's the best toy on the block. So just how good is the Dynobuckler? Ultimate Collectable? Waste of money? Or just a pretty show piece? If you're thinking of investing in this over the Power Rangers Power Morpher [or a Time Machine to go back to 1992] I would pass. This is definitely a cool toy and all, but you can easily customize a Power Morpher to look like a Dynobuckler these days. Unless you're into prestige! Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Dragonbuckler 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー ドラゴンバックラー NOT FOR SALE!! Don't ask!! That said, here is the ONE YEAR anniversary video from my Channel. That's right, one year ago today I uploaded my very first review to Youtube. To make things special, I skipped the teasers and trailers and i'm just uploading this as a surprise...here is the my review of the Dragonbuckler!! [I've been sitting on this review until now!] As i'm sure every Sentai fan with an internet connection knows, the Dragon Buckler is the Henshin Device of Dragon Ranger, the very first Sixth Sentai Character to become a continuous part of the series [Yes, I know of X1 Mask from Maskman...he hardly counts]. So how is this toy different from the Dynobuckler? Aside from being gold in color, the Dragon Buckler includes Dragonranger's coin as well as the other five coins. Aside from this, there is no change. The toy itself is the same as the Dyno Buckler. Press the button and the four lights flash and the beeping beeps. Standard stuff. Before I owned this toy, I really didn't think much of it. In person, it just looks cooler than you first thought. But still, the design could've been better...and as for the prices this thing has been going for these days? Pass it up unless you hit the lotto. For this money, you could buy some way cooler Changers AND a Dyno Buckler. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers...sorry. You were stuck with just a Power Morpher. No gold version or Tommy Version was ever released. Not even the coin has seen the American market. This, ofcourse, drives the value and desireability of the Dragon Buckler even higher. If you are a fan of the Green Power Ranger...you'll just have to import this. Or buy a replica coin and paint your Power Morpher Gold. That's all she wrote! Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Dyno Buckler 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー ダイノバックラー Welcome to my fourth Deluxe review: The Dyno Buckler. While this review may not be chock full of new angles and such, the pictures and video are of much higher quality and the format is much the same as my new reviews. Plus, I will be writting a more indepth review in this space rather than the small blurb I had written in my earlier review...with that said...let's get started. The Dyno Buckler is the twelfth Henshin Toy of Super Sentai. It's incredibly notable for being the first of it's kind not to be a Henshin Brace, rather it's worn as a belt buckle [hence the name]. Also, it was also used on occassion as a "brass knuckle" type weapon [Dyno Knuckler??]. The toy version of the Dyno Buckler is pretty neat. Included with the Buckler is five coins, a black plastic holder, and a sheet of stickers. Instructions weren't necessary as they were printed on the box [and let's face it, this toy was very easy to operate]. Looks wise, the toy is great. The paint is nice, smooth, and quite shiney. However, the use of decals as the black "bolts" on the front is a bit tacky [they should have painted those areas black rather than have children or their parents botch the decal placement or have them subject to peeling years later]. All told though, the toy is a great toy to look at. It's clean and smooth unlike just about every over engineered changer prior to it. Good things aside, this toy has quite a number of flaws. First, the electronics. They're crap. This toy doesn't seem to respond well sometimes, other times it works fine. It should work all the time, right? The coins are incredibly shiney too. Something that, if they appeared on the show in the same state, would be laughed at. Playability is also an issue. In the past, every Sentai Series Changer was in some sort of wrist bracelet form. It could be worn all day and imaginations could run wild and ease back to earth. All the while, the toy can be worn from the time a kid wakes up until bed time. Not the case here, it just clips onto the belt. Sure Rider Belts are similar, but they are belts. This just clips over top trousers! Imagine losing and returning home heartbroken? Not good. Those clips are not childproof! In America this was released as the very first Power Morpher for the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The toy was flawwed much like they would be for several years to come [to present basically]. It was upside down, the paint was dull, the decals were scant [and the ones used: boring], the holster was missing, the overall quality sucked. But it looks similar and makes the same beep. That has to be worth something, right? Today you can paint up a Power Morpher, buy coins, and buy a set of Dyno Buckler styled decals. So life really isn't so bad if you have a Power Morpher... Kaja Kaja Zyu - A Zyuranger Music Video My first music video in four years. Be gentle. ;) For a little while I couldn't get it under 100 megs, so I had my friend Onikage put it up on dailymotion. Finally got this sucker down a few megs, and now here it is at last. For those who don't know, Zyuranger was the original (and IMO far superior) Japanese TV series that supplied the costumes, battle footage, and special effects for what we know in America as Power Rangers. She hated dinosaurs and wanted to wipe the entire species from the face of the Earth. In the end of the war, Bandora and her servants were imprisoned within a vase on the wandering planet Nemesis. The dinosaurs never recovered. But it was known that after seventeen hundred million years, Nemesis' orbit would take it back into proximity with Earth, and it was predicted that Bandora would escape and the planet would be a dead place. So five children of the five great kingdoms volunteered to be in suspended animation to stop Bandora. Barza the white wizard guarded over their long sleep. Indeed, Bandora escaped thanks to wandering astronauts. The five were awaken and fought the evil forces along with the protector beasts. Little did they know, someone else was put to sleep---the leader Geki's older brother Burai, who swore revenge aganist him. the West Mighty Morphin Power Rangers When the threat of Earth being taken over by Rita Repulsa arose after she was freed from her dumpster prison on the Moon, a wise old sage named Zordon, who had established a Command Center in Angel Grove, recruited five teenagers to assume the power of the Morphing Grid to defend the planet as Power Rangers - Jason, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, and Trini. When the battle escalated, they would call on their individual assault vehicles named Zords and destroy the monsters who threatened peace in Angel Grove, all while trying to live normal lives as high school students. The Rangers have gone through many roster, Zord, and power changes. Rita gave the Dragon Coin to a new student at Angel Grove High- Tommy, who fought against the Rangers as the evil Green Ranger, and later joined the team once the spell over him was broken. Tommy eventually lost his powers as the Green Ranger and gained new powers as the White Ranger. To defeat Lord Zedd, who arrived to take over Rita's task, the Rangers needed to upgrade their Dinozords into Thunderzords, and later bring back Tommy as the White Ranger. Shortly after, Jason, Zack and Trini left for Switzerland to attend a peace conference, and left their powers to three allies of the Rangers- Rocky, Adam and Aisha, who became the new Red, Yellow, and Black Rangers. When the team lost their powers after an attack by Rita's brother Rito, the Rangers took a trip to the Temple of Power, where Ninjor gave them new powers and Ninja Zords, which were later joined by the Shogun Zords. Kimberly's departure to train for the Pan Global Games paved the way for Katherine, who took her place as the Pink Ranger. The Rangers' Power Coins were stolen by Goldar, and destroyed by Rita and Zedd, putting an end to the Power Rangers as we knew them, and setting forth the events that would transform them into Zeo Rangers. Dinosaur Squadron Zyuranger - Fandub Past the Japanese opening is the first few minutes of the show. I've dubbed it all in English. I'm hoping to do at least the first few episodes but just 3 minutes took me about 3 hours to do so... Yeah... It's fun though. The music is from the movie Mirrormask and the translation used was from Elite Justice Fansubs, who are currently in the process of subbing the whole series, along with Dairanger, which is the series the Thunderzords came from.
