EAA Oshkosh Airventure 2008 - Warbirds Sorry ive been gone away a while, I got my CFII test out of the way for flying so I was quite busy studying and preparing and all ;) Now im al lset to continue, im not gonna do any more of my tour vids so ill just do this and then try and see if my departure video works any better than my arrival (audio sucks to fix!). I got some vid too that ill upload soon of my flowriding experiences here ha ha its my summer hobby, what can ya do :P So here ya go plenty of warbirds here from past and new, a whole bunch of fire too :) We got the wall of fire and some WW2 stuff going on here heh heh. EAA Oshkosh Airventure 2008 -My Thursday View of the Airshow I showed you the start of this video on my preview, so now im able to show the rest of the airshow that I was able to catch (I have limited battery life and disk space lol). 1-The new Extra 330 in action! 2-Chuck Aaron and the Red Bull Helicopter (heh this was fun, never seen a helicopter do this before!) 3-Iron Eagles Aerobatic Team 4-Sean Tucker 5-Matt Younkin doing aerobatics in a twin Beech heh heh sweet ;) 6-What everyone was waiting for lol- the F-22 Raptor in action! Wow this is one loud plane, makes the F-18 sound quiet lol! 7-Kent Pietch making a landing on the worlds smallest runway heh heh 8-Kyle Franklin and the jet powered Waco! Thats all I could fit onto my camera before the battery died that day lol I got a lot in including the tour. My next days activities are a smaller tour and then its time for the exciting Warbirds of America demonstration. Lots of fire! EAA Oshkosh Airventure 2008 - My Thursday Tour Soooo.... we get our tents setup that night, have a good beer, and the next day comes along. I walk around with my camera and show the sights and sounds of the Airventure. (WARNING: I am shaky with the camera, so again I apologize for that, its not easy, im just so excited to be here again lol) I start off from the North 40 Campground where we camped out, and take the bus here to the entrance to the field. Its early morning so we can see stuff before the crowds get too big! I start off wandering through the Warbirds section (pretty big!). The airport opened at 6 so its jsut all movin around at this time of day too. After I get out of the warbirds section, I walk alogn the looong path to the center part of the field, Aeroshell Square. There you can see all the highlighted aircraft. Guess whos coming out of that Qantas plane that I didnt even pay attention to then? lol After that I take a lil bit of a walk through an exibitor hangar, A LOT of people there and thats only one of 4. I just kidna went through quick, at least I can walk around then since it didnt get so busy yet. Most every aviation type business was around :) I wish I had enough money to buy stuff other than t-shirts lol! EAA Oshkosh Airventure 2008 - My Arrival Flight This is our flight into Oshkosh right after the Wednesday airshow. It just opened up about 10 minutes prior to us coming in. So we just jump on in, we were the last ones before they started making people hold over the lake. I apologize about the audio, I had no way to check the volume on my camera, but it does get better as we get closer to the controller over Fisk. I put a few warnings in there of how quick it is, but there you go, you get the feel of how much you have to pay attention out there on your way in :) Also my video recordign was 2nd priority, I had to look out for others, so lol dont be suprised if you see the camera wander off! After we land with 4 other planes in front of us, I leave the camera on while taxiing. lol I had plenty of room left so you can just get the feel of how long it takes and how nice and crowded it is even on the ground :) We end up at our campsite and I get out and take a quick look around. EAA Oshkosh Airventure 2008 - Preview Video This is my first video of many from this year's EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. For those who don't know, this is the largest aviation celebration in the world, and for one week it is the busiest airport in the world too! There's everything about airplanes here! I have lots of footage for you to enjoy, so it's like you went there this year yourself! Due to the time it takes to convert my video, there may be longer delays in posting, but ill have everything up eventually, in order (minus this vid). Here's the general layout of this adventure: 1-Arrival Procedure: You get a taste of how it is to fly into Oshkosh, I hook the radio up to hear real time communication (Wed Jul 30, 2008). 2-I do a tour of the North side of Airventure starting in the Warbirds section, moving along to Aeroshell Square, plus more! (Thurs Jul 31, 2008). 3-Thursday Air show with an aircraft demonstration beforehand (in today's preview). In the front row! (Thurs Jul 31, 2008). 4-Some more of a tour, another look at Aeroshell square, aircraft changing every day, even John Travolta's little aircraft ;-) Also I have a 10 minute clip of Rod Machado's seminar that I attended, plus another aircraft showcase. Following that will be the Friday Air show including the Collaborators and more! Front Row. (Fri Aug 1, 2008). 5- EAA Warbirds of America demonstration, including the Wall of Fire. Front Row. (Fri Aug 1, 2008). 6- A look at the P-51's that I missed on day 1 (I thought I'd get to sit in one but plans for that day changed unfortunately). I visit the EAA Museum and I also get a preview of Bob Hoover's Seminar as I go around. I head to the south of Airventure to tour the ultralights area, and then off to the Seaplane Base and watch a Cessna do a water landing. I return to Aeroshell Square and record an encore presentation of the wall of fire, this time from a lookout stand. (Sat Aug 2, 2008). 7-Departure Procedure: Now we head on home after such a wonderful event, it's always sad to leave! So take a look at how people head out and I have video left so I just go ahead and do a bunch of recording on our way home to Colorado. Our plans always changed, so we don't land where we want much, but that's how flying goes. So enjoy the sights from Wisconsin to Colorado lol. (Sun Aug 3, 2008). Thanks for watching! Suikoden V - Final & Ending (Part 25) This is the end of Suikoden at this point, until the 6th ;) We settle the score with Marcal Godwin and close the story with Lyon and the Prince in this easier than I expected final battle. I made mroe use out of attacks than runes, liek I did in SUikoden IV. Enjoy the nice ending where we see all 108 stars, and see Beavis as the new Commander of the Queens Knights, yay! Suikoden V - Sun Rune Hunt - Gotcha Dolph! (Part 24) Thought I was finished? Sure the war is over, but the culprits behind it are still breathing mwa ha ha. We head into the ruins and are forced to take 3 separate parties in, 3 doors sealed after the Godwins made it in with the Sun Rune. Twighlight (led by Lyon), Dawn (led by Beavis, the prince lol), and Sun (led by Zweig) are the 3 parties. And if you havent gotten enough random battles in this games quest, I left them all in here, so yeah we can cut out a whole bunch of story since the last part lol. At the end of each groups path awaits a boss (you knew it, right??), and after all 3 come together, its the faceoff between Lyon and Dolph, tiem to settle the score. He is a pretty big cause of the war too afterall ;) At the end of it all, its just my preparation for the next vid, its nothing fancy, but you can see the steps I go through to get ready for the final boss, which will be in the next part. Suikoden V - Ending the War (Part 23) This long part is the story of the re-capture of Sol-Falena. We start with a lil tour of Stormfist, boy oh boy its been a long time since we set foot here. At least they have absolutley no more Godwin forces here, since the last part heh heh. So now we have the last big war here, its time for another moonlight meeting with our allies, a small moment of peace at least. The first war battle puts us against Sol-Falena at the damn, and this is where we deal with Sialeeds. And if that wasnt enough, the Sun Rune makes its appearence too! They got it working, but is that alone enough to wipe us out? Well heh guess what, and we take the next war battle to put us into the capital itself. But its nto easy, I dotn have as easy of a time liek I did before lol, but thats how it goes. After clearing out the troops, its time for my favorite battle in the game, I made it an all out Queens Knight battle! Alenia & Zahak vs. Georg, Kyle, Galleon, Miakis, Lyon, and the Prince. Heh I saw new combo moves there I never noticed before ;) (lol they remind me of Culgan and Seed in a way lol). After them its the showdown with Gizel ;) Now we have everything calmed down finally, we see the events after returning to the castle, including the missing Sun Rune! Suikoden V - Pummeling Stormfist (Part 22) Weve regained all the land we lost, now were makign a push for the Sun Rune. But we cant jsut leave Stormfist, ahem a certain someone cant be left alone there. First we meet with the deligates from Armes, then its off to Sotrmfist. You thought I was bloodthirsty in Doorat, well its on here! And its the end of Childerich and Dilber, leading to the fight against Sialeeds. Suikoden V - Bloodthirsty pursuit of Childerich! (Part 21) We take the offensive again for Doorat, but this time itll be a bit more difficult with all of Childerich, Dilber, and Bahram guarding the city. Bring it on I say heh, more fun for my guys! I have fun taking down everyone I can in this battle (just wait till ya see Stormfist too...). I think you can see how this one will turn out, but regardless in their attempt to escape we get to play against Bahram's desparate maneuver. And after all that its talk of where to hit next. Suikoden V - ...and how we fought to get it back! (Part 20) Now we get down to business in gettign our castle back. First its a matter of gettign the Dragon Cavalry all fixed up, just a small nuisance in the way heh heh. Then we work on gettign the castle back, remember how we got it? How about we undo that and flood the place back out heh heh, makes it for easy pickings for us to get the place back (as you can see in my last vidI had a real tough time with that battle, and the worst of luck!). And now with us coming back home, our castle gets the next upgrade ;) All floors are unlocked and I take a tour. At the end I recruit some more Stars of Destiny. Suikoden V - How we lose every land we gained... (Part 19) This part is where we start losing towns like mad, and even our home base/headquarters! The Dawn Rune upgrade helped out Lyon, but shortly after that we have word of Armes involving themselves with Godwin. And right after we spoke to the Dragon Cavalry lol. And guess whos now a Queens Knight? Childerich! He seems like someone from the Luca Blight family lol. So yes, first Doorat/Sable and Estrise goes, then Lordlake, then Sindarblock! Suikoden V - Visit the Dragon Cavalry & More Sindar(Part 18) Istart with a little bit of a recruitment drive before I meet the people at Sauronix Castle. And well sicne theres no foreign army... you know how much they can help us at this point. We then take a look at Hershville Naval base, where Godwin is in control but they don't seem to mind me wandering around there. Then last but not least we look for the cure for Lyon in the Sindar Ruins! I think you can tell I get pretty frustrated tryign to find my way lol, I get the CHampion Rune out and then find my way, whew! Getting through the ruins was nice and fast at least... Suikoden V - Beavers, Islands, and Coronation (Part 15) We get a whole bunch of smaller tasks in this video. We gotta help out the guys at Beaver Village, our friend Dolph stopped by lol! After we restore peace and thereby gainign even more allies, we go to the Island nations in hopes to prevent Godwin from getting support from the foreign nations. And towards the end, we get to witness Lymselia's coronation, a bit before her time, kidna strange seeing a kid marry an older guy lol. Suikoden V - Our prince, the bandit! (Part 14) I do a little bit of character recuitment in this video while I go and play with Sabel. Suikoden V - Sindarblock Castle (Part 12) This video is now the concluion of the battle to destroy the Hatred Fortress! Whew that took some time didnt it? We control the water, save some lives, and get things going our way for once :) In the midst of getting water to Lordlake, we set up the newly risen castle, and I have fun getting to name it of course. At the end I take a tour of Lordlake, that once again has water throughout the city, much more pleasant, and of coruse it gets me a few more stars of destiny! Tags: suikoden role play rpg video game
