Eola 8/11/08: M BRCGAL takes off!!! Finally they put some good power on the Brick-Gal again... Two Cascade Green dash-2's (BNSF 7000, and BNSF 6797). They were givven permission from the dispatcher to get moving almost an hour before they actually took off. It's amazing what you can see in 5 minutes. Eola 8/11/08: Yard job pulls out with good power. BNSF 3127 and 1501 head this small yard job consisting of two tanker cars and three NOKL bright red well cars. 3127 is still sporting the old Burlington Northern lettering, while 1501 still shows off the great Cascade Green scheme! ULTIMATE PHOAMING MUST SEE!!!!! Well, as I said with the Amtrak video, I was under the impression that the storms would miss us to the south west, turns out I was wrong... I waited the storm out and in the process saw 5 trains, this being the last of the 5. The Z STPCHC1 06 had some really cool power, even though they dropped an engine at Eola. A GP60M on the point, and a Dash 2 second out. This was filmed under the Yackley Road bridge. The storms got to the point where I had to put the camera away in my pocket because of the wind and intense rain. The storms cleared out about 15 minutes after this was shot. 3 BN's at Lisle!!!!! This was a sweet train. The "U CSXBRE1 10" usually has a few CSX engines, but today it had a 3 pack of Cascade Greens!!! Two SD60M's and a Dash 2! BNSF 8180 was in charge. Amtrak #3 with a suprise at the end! You can hear me say in complete sarcasm, "Yay, its an Amtrak!!!" I was fucking pissed that the storms hit us. BNSF West Chicago Local in Eola It seems to be a trend now, as soon as we get to Eola, we see a train before we have time to set up... Today though, it was sometihng special.
