8/9/08: NYC Co$ Summons Security Goons to Handle Anons Upon discovering the largest stress test table setup in NYC, a small group of anons descended upon it with fliers in hand. Within five minutes, two very large and intimidating fellows arrived to bait us into doing stupid things in front of NYPD surveillance equipment set up near the tables. 5/26/2008: Anonymous Sends John Carmichael Off the Deep End! Looks like someone needs to get their overts checked! Rev. John Carmichael, the head of the Church of Scientology in New York City, made an appearance at a "Free Stress Test" table to try to prevent Anonymous from informing the public about the dubious nature behind the test itself and bigotry within the book they are attempting to sell, "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health" by L. Ron Hubbard, by calling the cops on us. After the entire debacle explodes in Carmichael's face with none of us being charged for a crime and his own organization slapped with a fine for not having a street vending permit to run the "stress test" tables in the first place, Carmichael slowly gets more and more crazy as nothing seems to be going his way. All of this culminates in one of the most unexpected moments witnessed by New York City Anons as the greatest public relations figure for the Church of Scientology in the five boroughs is finally driven COMPLETELY FUCKING BONKERS! 3/22/08: NYC Anonymous Makes Surprise Appearance at the Co$ Some anons in New York City decided to spend the day raising public awareness of the dark side of the "Church" of Scientology and getting the word out about Anonymous' next global event on 4/12. During the course of our traveling around Manhattan, we found our way to the Church of Scientology location in Times Square where the OSA was taken completely by surprise. Some lulzy occurrences worthy of note that were not recorded/shown: -The OSA threatening to call the police because the four or five anons who walked directly past the front entrance were Rickrolling. -The OSA discussing the possibility of blocking pedestrian traffic around us as we handed out fliers. -One of our own being allowed into the building and returning with a $5 book and $60 after the "Church" completely fucked up giving change for a $20.
