VGW: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989 (Attempt 1, Part 1) So here we are, with another side project that isn't directly related to the original schedule for Season 2. Damnit, I'm so easily sidetracked... Everyone loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you don't, you're either racist towards turtles or just unable to accept the fact that they are full of everything awesome. They were so awesome that they had video games made for them. In particular, the arcade games were possibly the best of them all, including... TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (1989) Beat 'Em Up action with up to four players, being able to choose your favorite turtle and walking the streets looking for some ninja ass to kick... oh yeah... that's the good stuff! For Xbox360 owners, this game was added to the Xbox Live Market not too long ago (I don't know exactly when, and quite frankly I don't care) and boy was I excited to hear it! This game made me so happy when I was a kid, so I had to take it for another ride and it hasn't lost it's charm at all in the time that it's been out. However, it gets better... Online support: Up to four players can play at once... ON-FREAKIN'-LINE!!!!! The game's online mode has a few challenging aspects to it that are different from the single player aspects, the main one being that you only have 20 lives per player. For anyone who's played this game, 20 lives is just barely enough to beat this game if you have no idea what you're doing, so you better hope you have a good team with you if you're planning on winning this badboy (they made it a god damned achievement, so you'd better hope I want to win it!) I got a group of us together and started kicking shell... and out of pure boredom, I also recorded it. I wanted to see what audio-recording from Xbox Live's Voice Chat feature would be like in recorded videos, but it doesn't look like it turned out that well when I brought it over... either way, I'll be getting the rest of these up sometime this week if I have time. Enjoy watching the massacre! (P.S.: To all the scholars out there, the title should give you an idea of how it ends. It's not meant to be a spoiler or anything, more of a "Guess who died first, second, third and last" and "Who was the top turtle?". Good luck with your guesses! You'll need it... ... oh, and yeah. ProtonJon was in this. Just incase you care... (I know you do, you bastards!) Tags: azure azureblade49 video game walkthrough tmnt 1989 arcade |

Azura's 200th Video Spectacular!! Well here we are... we somehow managed to reach the 200 marker, and I gotta say, I wasn't expecting it to be so... amazing. This video was (excluding the text and intro) made by a good buddy of mine, Tom "Squigi". He dedicated a lot of time towards getting this done and I am very thankful to him for it. Thanks, mate! I owe ya one! Actually, I also just realised that this is the first video that I've made that shows off what my avatar looks like. Well, there he is, in all of his gray-haired glory. I wasn't able to throw in all of the fan comments, so thanks to everyone who was nice enough to write something in. I'll try to be a little better about asking about sending in commentary next time, but that probably won't be for a while... The next milestone video that I plan on doung will be a "500th Video Spectacular". 300 and 400 don't seem like notable milestones, so... I dunno, I might do something special, but nothing even close to this badboy. I'd also like to thank Icrangirl for the picture she made for this vid (you can see it at the very end of the vid). Note: Watch the whole thing before you decide to not watch it. The intro exists just to throw you off. Azura Versus the World: Mega Man 2 - No Powerups on Quickman The next Azura Versus the World challenge I recieved was for me to complete Quickman's stage in Mega Man 2 without any powerups of any kind. This would mean having to traverse the horrific and dangerous laser beam drops of doom. How did I fare? See for yourselves! Note: The technical name for the challenge was "Don't die from touching the lasers without using Time-Stopper" but since that's a long and drawn-out name, I just changed it to "No Powerups on Quickman's Stage". Channel Azura News Update This video is basically going to be bad news... No, I'm not stopping making videos, but due to my life slowly becoming busier during the summer holidays, expect video production to slow down quite a bit. I'll try not to let myself fall too far down, but I wanted to come up with a way that I could keep everyone posted on how I was doing. Then it hit me. http://azureblade49.blogspot.com/ Yeah... I know, it's a blog. Big whoop. Only, it's not really just a blog. I'll be using it for several different purposes, some of which you guys might find interesting. Firstly, I'll be using it as a blog, so I'll keep you all posted on how my life is doing and, if I'm busy, you'll know why without spamming my YouTube account with random messages all asking the same questions. If there's a lack of videos on YouTube, you'll figure out why if you go to the blog. Secondly, it will be a Log, so I'll be keeping track of what games I've been playing recently. I wanted to try logging what I've been playing for a long time now, so I finally decided to buckle down and give it a go for the month of July, just to see how well I did. Lastly, it will be a gateway of sorts. Not a magical gateway, but you'll learn a little more about me from reading it every now and then. I'll be leaving the comment feature on, so you can all give feedback if you're interested. Just... no spam, m'kay? No one really cares if you were the first viewer or first comment. That's more or less all I had to say. Hopefully this will keep you all informed well enough to survive the summer. It's going to be a bit of a slowdown starting next week, so I'll try to give you all a little something extra before that happens. Thanks for watching and ciao~ Tags: azura azureblade49 blog |

S2 RHR02: Cousinoer5's "Mario's Masochistic Mission" Part 01 With the start of a new month among us, I figured I would do something a little special. I'll admit it, Brawl videos have been flowing in pretty heavily over the past month, but now it's time to move on. ROM HACK REVIEW NUMBAH TWO!!!! Cousinoer5, A.K.A. Al Coholic, has sent in this ROM hack in and has been chosen to be my second review. I was extremely tired when I recorded this one (It was 7 AM and I got no sleep at all that night, I went to bed immediately after recording) so hopefully I don't come off as "tired" or "boring". So far I like this hack, I have high expectations for it and will continue along with it as best as I can. Wish me luck and enjoy the video! ... oh, and yes. Texty is back in this one. Channel Azura June Stream: Replay Matches 03 Here you go guys, this is going to be the last of the replay videos that I make for the June Stream. This should cover all of the main highlights of the show. I'd like to touch up on each of these matches in more detail, if I may... The first match in this video may seem kind of out of place compared to the rest of the matches here. "Why are there only three people playing in this match if there were eight people there?" This match was actually played BEFORE the stream went up, it was played with Jaymonius, CMSPyrowolf and myself almost 15 minutes before the show started, and as such I left that it deserved to be seen somewhere in this set. CMSPyrowolf was kind enough to be a moderator for the chatroom, so I think he deserves a spot on here somewhere as a way of me saying "Thanks, man!" "Why the song that you chose?" is another question I'm expecting people to ask. I like energetic and upbeat music, for one. That, and it's from a series made by Sonic Team, so it is, theoretically, still a valid choice. It's no worse than anything else I've put in previous videos (Kung-fu Fighting... what the hell was I thinking?). The series is also getting a new game for Wii later this year, so I could even use that as an excuse if I needed one. Luckily, I don't need an excuse, it's a good song and it fits in the energy of the stage very well. Matches 2 and 3 in this video were "Super duper happy fun time" matches, where people who wanted to have lots of fun chose random and giggled to themselves about who they got. I was lucky enough (I use the term "lucky" sarcastically) to get Captain Falcon on this match, but my Captain Falcon is in dire need of practice, as you will no doubt see from this match. I chose the song here because I was almost heartbroked to find that there were no Donkey Kong 64 songs in Brawl's vast song list. The song in question was the world map theme, probably the only song in the entire game that I remember (it's been years since the last time I had the chance to play). The third match in this video was just plain silly. I have no comments for it, because it was just so silly... That just about sums it up. Now that I'm done with these, I can get back to the rest of the videos in the Season 2 lineup. I'll be sure to announce the next stream date whenever I get around to planning another one. Thanks for coming out and enjoy! Tags: azura azureblade49 jaymonius whiteneko protonjon brawl june |

Channel Azura June Stream: Replay Matches #2 The second installment of replay videos from our June Stream, we have another 3-match set for you guys. It was roughly around this time that I lost track of who was using who, but in some cases it's pretty obvious (White Meta Knight, who else but Quagmire?). As with the first video, I swapped out the old music and replaced it with different music. The second match on this video was especially annoying because the match lasted for almost 3 minutes and the song file I had was only 1 minute, so I had to make an audio-loop for the song. I think it turned out okay, but you guys are the true judges on this one. Based on the number of replays that are still on my SD Card's memory, it looks like there will be at least one more of these videos. Anywho, enjoy the matches. Channel Azura June Stream: Brawl Replays #1 Thanks again to all of you guys who came to watch the stream. It was wicked fun and I hope you all enjoyed the show. I know not everyone was able to come, so I've tried to come up with a solution. My original plan of recording the show and playing the highlights on YouTube failed due to my computer not being able to handle all of what was happening at once. However, I was able to do something else... BRAWL REPLAY DATA!!!! I don't have any audio commentary for these ones, but I do have music that I can provide to keep these interesting. I'll swap out the songs and replace them with new music that I personally chose. So far they all look pretty nifty (I even had to create my own audio loops for some of the shorter songs, match 2 and 3 in this video specifically) so I hope you enjoy. Also, I'd like to give a huge thanks to VegetaFH1 for an amazing donation of $100 towards the show. Thanks a whole bunch, Vegeta, you're awesome!!! Interested in making a donation? Give me a hollar and I can set you up with my Paypal info. Mr. Game & Watch (JMan) Vs. Ganondorf (Hero) Vs. Meta Knight (Neko) Vs. Pit (Azura) on Lylat Cruise Mario (JMan) Vs. Peach (Hero) Vs. Azura and CMSPW at it Again... (Not Officially 4) Sonic (Azura) Vs. Fox (CMSPW) on Mario Bros. Just to set the record straight, this match isn't the fourth in the series of Azura Brawls CMSPyrowolf matches, because it was retardedly short AND I missed out on the commentary. This little gem, like most of man's greatest discoveries, was an accident of sorts... I don't get the chance to brawl on this level too often because most of the people I play with hate this stage. It doesn't play similarly to other stages in that you're almost required to use the enemies in the stage as weapons for easy kills. It also doesn't help if your opponent is capable of reflecting said projectiles weapons back at you for increased damage and flight distance. I don't fight a lot of StarFox character-using players in Brawl, but I know to watch out for this reflector. I was a little TOO cautious though, almost borderline paranoid of it. I was afraid to throw my weapons and froze in the moment. The result was this video... I missed out on getting the commentary for this, so I just saved the replay data and turned it into a video. This video is more or less my "I'm nothing amazing and should not be treated as such" evidence. If you like watching Azura get his ass handed to him (in seconds, no less) then this video is for you. I also swapped out the music in this stage for a song that I think went a little better with the scenario. Bonus points to anyone who can correctly guess where it's from. Azura Brawls CMSPyrowolf 03 Sonic (Azura) Vs. Jigglypuff (CMSPW) on Smashville. The long-awaited match between Azura and CMSPyrowolf has finally arrived. ... wait... was it long awaited? Oh well. In video 2 of these, Ben mentions doing something with his Jigglypuff to make me upset. This is the match he was talking about. Yes, I know how to evade Jigglypuff's FS better than what I showed on here, but I was very tired and probably shouldn't have been playing at all at the time of recording. And yes, I can sing the entire "Go! K.K. Rider" song using K.K. Slider's lyrics (if you can call them that). Ben can also be seen on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/CMSPyrowolf Tags: azura azureblade49 cmspyrowolf super smash bros brawl wii |

Azura Brawls CMSPyrowolf 02 Snake (Azura) Vs. Toon Link (CMSPW) on Halberd. ... okay, I kinda lied. It looks like these might become a segment afterall. Might... After getting a little bit of sleep (no thanks to working all day) I decided to take another swing at doing Skype-recorded Brawls (with commentary, as always) and seeked out a new person to play with. Luckily, one of my buddies who lives in the U.S. (CMSPyrowolf, Ben to the rest of the world) was more than willing to give me some of his time to produce a few matches. Out of the two matches we played, there were three that I plan on bringing onto YouTube. I'll try to upload that one tomorrow, but right now I need some sleep... g'night... Azura Brawls HylianHero 01 Pit (Azura) Vs. Ike (HERO) on Yoshi's Island. "Azura Brawls" isn't a new segment on the channel, this is a test video of sorts that I made at 3 in the morning to see how well my computer handled recording under extreme circumstances. Long story short, my computer held up better than I anticipated and I love him for it. Well... what can I say about this video? It's me playing Brawl with a friend (HylianHero, or Chris to the mainstream) late in the night, recording it. This is my first video where I actually recorded WiFi (everything else on my channel is local, I believe) and I shall give you all of the details for it on here as to prevent massive hoards of comments. I used: "Capture Card" (Adaptec GameBridge) to record the video onto my computer "Skype" to talk to Chris "Pamela" to record the conversation "Camtasia Studio" to produce the final video. I won't be offering any deeper details than that, so from here on out you're all going to have to use Google to figure the rest out. Afterall, Google is your friend. This is also a good thing for future plans on my channel. Not immediately, but in the near future, I'll be accepting Brawl invites again, allowing me to play people over the internet AND record them (as long as they have Skype, your voices will be on the net as well, kiddies!). As I said though, it's not going to be immediately, so don't come swamping me with challenges just yet. Give me some time, and I'll be ready. In the meantime, enjoy the match! Oh, and yes, there's commentary. If you little babies whine about there being commentary on a commentary channel, you're only making yourselves look bad.
