R3 Demo for Rendition Vérité 3D graphics hardware. (Long description, you may have to click to read the whole thing.) The story, for anyone who cares: I wrote this demo in 1998 to try out some 3D graphics programming for the first time. In those days, most PC's were not capable of 3D graphics, so you had to buy a special 3D graphics card to make games like Quake or Tomb Raider look their best. My demo only works on Rendition Vérité graphics cards. Rendition held a contest for demos, which I entered and became a semi-finalist. This demo and others ended up on a Boot Magazine (now called Maximum PC) cover disc too! I didn't win, but I got to learn all about programming 3D graphics, and I had fun composing the music too.
